The next season of The Last Of Us is on the way with The Last Of Us hitting more of the story beats than expected
It feels like it has taken forever at this point, but the second season of The Last Of Us is on the way to us all on April 13th. All to bring us further back into the world that Naughty Dog has made for us all before while offering up a few more things that the video game story could not. Usually, that is something that feels weird to say when going from video game to film, but the first season of The Last Of Us did it so well that we should be expecting something along the same lines. Even if it is a shorter season this time around and not slated to be the final one we are going to get. Maybe the trailer for it will show us a bit of how that is going to work from the PS5 and PC versions of the game story.
Before you get worried about watching the new trailer for The Last Of Us, it does not look like it is going to spoil much of the main story unless you are fully immersed in the video game version so far. The bigger focus I would rather point to is the fact that we might be getting more of the infected in this version of the show and a lot more action. Along with a look at the more touching parts of the main story between Ellie and Dina, Ellie and Joel, and maybe even more of all of the other side stories. What the trailer does not focus on here is the main antagonist that we might be getting in the show. We do know that Abby from The Last Of Us 2 is going to be in the show, but there is no sign of the level of all of that as of yet. Maybe just more of the character building so we can stretch this gut-wrenching story into a few more seasons.
The Last Of Us — Season 2 Official Trailer
You can’t stop this.
The Last Of Us returns on April 13 on Max.
How close to the main story of The Last Of Us 2 will this stick and will it be stretching it further out than expected, just as they have in the past storylines? Will we see more of the past shots of Ellie and Joel as we did in the game or might that play out in real-time to keep the pacing different? How much do you think we will see Abby in the show and could we get a full episode dedicated just to that part of the story? Make your way on down to the comment section to drop those thoughts and then keep the discussion flowing out there. Once we get something more for The Last Of Us season two or the show starts stream out there, we will keep the updates flowing out to you. Just be sure to keep on checking back for all of that and everything else that we can get our hands on.
