Twisted Metal Is Officially Getting Its Season Three

The Twisted Metal mayhem is carrying on, with the announcement for a season three for Twisted Metal

If you were one of the Twisted Metal fans out there who thought the show was over, we have some great news. As it looks, we are officially getting a third season of the show from Peacock out there. No more wondering about the way it all ended and if we would be left wanting. Season three is fully official, and that means we are going to have even more Twisted Metal fun in the coming days. Well, maybe coming months, as this is just the announcement, it is happening and not much else to go along with it. Maybe we will see a new teaser for it all during The Game Awards, as we did with the last season, but there has yet to be any word that any kind of production has started as of yet, so that is highly unlikely.

That all said, it does look like there is one little extra piece of news to go along with this that might be a little concerning. It does sound as if one of the original co-EPs for Twisted Metal will not be back, and we are getting a new show runner in the mix. One who has worked on the show before now, and the others in charge are still there, so that might be something minor to worry about. The true worry would be if they lost the writing team and the actors who helped to bring Twisted Metal to life, and gave us all of the extra fun. That is still a possibility, sure, but as of right now, there is no word that any of them are not coming back to the show. Except maybe those who did not make it through the first two seasons. We will have to wait and see.
