You Too Can Dazzle Your Audience As Shinbi Joins The Ranks Of Paragon

Paragon — Shinbi

The next hero for Paragon has been announced and this time we add a pop star into the battle of Paragon whom can summon spirit wolves

Just when I thought that the ideas for Paragon heroes would be running out, Epic Games drops another one on us and mixes things up by giving us something we didn’t know we wanted; a pop star. Yes, the next character to join the fight here is a pop star and is using her brand of music and talents to assassinate others on the battle field. Like I said, not what I would have expected for Paragon but it is a deviation from the traditional warrior types that we’ve been seeing here for the last few updates. Now we get to welcome Shinbi as she joins in on February 21st as part of the next update to the game.

As is to be expected, all of her actions and move are related to the singing and dancing side of things but Shinbi can also summon up spirit wolves to do her bidding. This is apparently something she can do when not fighting others in Paragon but that is all fluff and story stuff that MOBA players don’t want to know about here. She also comes with a nice dash attack that can be linked to get her quickly across the battle field or out of the thick of things. Also she has the ability to do some massive AOE damage while healing as her spirit wolves run around and do their thing. I do have to say it at least looks like a crazy mix up to Paragon is nothing else.

Paragon — Shinbi

Rushing Beat (RMB/R1) — Shinbi dashes forward passing through enemies and dealing damage, she can also re-trigger quickly after to dash again.

Line Tempo (Q/Square) — A Spirit Wolf is summoned and runs out in a straight line, passing through minions and dealing damage. The wolf explodes on contact with an enemy Hero.

Circle Rhythm (E/Circle) — Shinbi summons four Spirit Wolves that circle her for 4 seconds, which deal damage and heal Shinbi for each hit.

All-Kill! (R/Triangle) — Passive: All of Shinbi’s abilities apply +1 Spirit Wolf stack per hit to enemy Heroes, building up to eight stacks. Active: When activated a pack of Spirit Wolves attack the closest target with the highest number of Wolf stacks, sending one Wolf per stack.

If you wish to see Shinbi and her abilities in action, Epic Games has also put together a nice little overview video for here. This way you can see how she should handle in Paragon when a skilled player is behind the wheel. Hopefully she handles just as well as she looks to here. Although I do have to say that her ultimate ability does seem to be a little disjointed. That could be just how I am seeing it here and it could play a lot nicer in Paragon proper. We’ll find out next week I guess.

Paragon — Shinbi Overview

What are your thoughts on Shinbi here for Paragon as she stands? Was this the kind of character you were expecting to get mixed in or were you hoping for yet another warrior-looking kind of thing? What are your thoughts on her abilities and skills as they were shown here? Let us know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. As we wait for another three weeks and another character to join Paragon, be sure to stick here. We’ll have those updates and many more and you won’t want to miss out on any of that fun as we press onward and upward.
