Another addition into the Final Fantasy franchise has a new trailer out just before E3 and now we’ll see World Of Final Fantasy this Fall
We may have to wait for the bigger announcements at E3 but it looks like we have a good look at World Of Final Fantasy just before and now we have a release date of October 25th on the PS4 and PS Vita. I am going to venture a guess that Square Enix has many other announcements in their chambers ready to go at the event its self so here we go with just a few before. Let all of the news begin here with World Of Final Fantasy… even though it is most likely not the title you might be thinking it is. Read that as “not an MMO even though the title suggests that.”
World Of Final Fantasy is another upcoming RPG title in the franchise that looks to have been made more “kid friendly” than others in the long list. Hence how all of the characters have been done up in the Chibi style of things even though it looks like we can swap between them all. None the less it is being promoted out to both long-term fans of the franchise as well as younger/newer gamers out there who want to give it all a try without having to go through all of the other iterations of the games bad and good. At least we have all of the familiar faces to play along with.
World Of Final Fantasy — E3 2016
In World Of Final Fantasy, players lead a pair of twins, Reynn and Lann, through the land of Grymoire on a search to rediscover their lost memories. Throughout their adventure, players will collect, raise and battle adorable beings of classic Final Fantasy lore, including cactuar, chocobo and behemoth, to create customizable, strategic tower combinations to take on the most challenging of opponents. There also seems to be some form of “monster hunting” and collecting mixed in to use in the battle system but those or more footnotes on the main page for the game. I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see.
What are your thoughts on World Of Final Fantasy here based on what is known so far? Does it look like it will be the title that sucks in more to the franchise or will it get lost in the mix of the other major release of the franchise? Doesn’t Kingdom Hearts fulfill what Square Enix is going for here with this game or do you think it will be truly that drastically different? Let us know what you are thinking and discuss in the comments below.
