Over the weekend, we had two more Tekken fighters gear up and show off just what they are going to bring into Tekken 8
It is definitely the weekend of the fighting game announcements, with two more fighters coming into the light for Tekken 8. This is now a huge surprise given that EVO took place and this is where we usually get all of those big announcements. Now, we get to dive into two more characters that Bandai Namco had for us out at the event for Tekken 8. Even as we all wait to see just when the game will hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in a full form. I think we are still looking at a 2024 release for it all. That does not stop the roster from growing now, though.
First up, we have Azucena from Peru joining the fight of Tekken here. Just as the culture and name alludes too, there is much of the flair and fun in the mix of it all for Azucena. Mostly with grapple and takedown moves in the mix. There are some high kicks and other attacks, but it feels more like this is a character all about the grapple in Tekken than the over-the-top stuff the others have. Although, I am curious to see how long it will take before the coffee joke runs its course in the mix of things here instead. They do lean into all of that with the finishers and opening comments for the character.
Tekken 8 — Azucena Gameplay
Not everyone can handle a strong and punchy blend ☕
Azucena the Peruvian coffee queen will give you a taste of defeat in Tekken 8!
Next, we get to move on to one of the characters that leans into the over-the-top fighting we have been seeing more of in the Tekken games. Here we have Raven, who looks as if they can create duplicates of themself in the fight while also using some other light to hit hard too. It is kind of hard to tell, outside of just making sure we have another hard-hitting fighting in Tekken 8. At some point, they all start to blend together and feel as if they are just skins of other fighters that have worked in the past. No matter the feeling, here is one ore to the roster that is ever-growing out there. Have a look and enjoy.

Now you see him. Now you don’t. Raven returns from the shadows in Tekken 8!
Did you expect to see this many fighters show up for Tekken 8 or have we hit the end of the roster yet? How many more do you think we could see and will we see some guests along the way too? Do they all start to blend together at some point for you as well or do each feel like they are their own thing in the long run of the game? Kick in the door of the comment section and discuss all of those thoughts there. We will keep tossing out all of the Tekken 8 news as we get it, so please keep on coming back to see and hear all of that. I have a feeling you are not going to be letdown by any of it over time.
