Donkey Kong and the family are coming back as Donkey Kong Country Returns HD launches out to the world once more
The Switch is just about to give us all more of that nostalgia feeling out there with the launch of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. The adventure that started years ago with Nintendo is now ready, on January 16th, to bring us all back in or bring in new fans to enjoy the game again. Maybe even to further introduce gamers to Donkey Kong after the film and other versions of the character have shown up to audiences that might not have known where they all came from. The solid mix of players out there to keep the IP rolling and jumping along the rails out there once again. If you are in the market for any and all of that, that is…
You can have a look at the upcoming Donkey Kong Country Returns HD just a bit below, but it does look as if they were able to bring the original version right back to life for us all. Unless my memory has become that muddy, it looks and feels just as I remember it all from fifteen years ago. Yes, that is dating me a bit, but it does offer up a feel for what will be on the Switch if we so to pick it all up. Along with the side scrolling and platforming fun it gave us from long ago. You can get a small taste of it all and see how Diddy and Donkey Kong are going to flow in the game here. You might be a bit surprised at it all for a title as old as it originally was.
