The entire compilation of Kingdom Hearts is heading to the PS4 now as Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX has been announced for March 2017
I knew it was only a matter of time but it looks like Kingdom Hearts is finally making its way to the PS4 and not just Kingdom Hearts III. It looks like Square Enix wants to make sure we all know the story up to now before KH3 lands as we are now getting a new collection and for the PS4. The amazing news here is that it isn’t just the two core games but the entire franchise up to now. That’s right, here we go with the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX collection that is currently slated to come on March 28th of 2017. Get ready to lose so many hours to the fun.
I guess saying all of the Kingdom Hearts titles up to now is a bit of a misnomer on my end but it does look like all of the games that matter in the franchise to build to the third core title will be here. None the less we will be getting six games all packaged up for us and ready to go. I’m going to guess that this is the only bits of the story that we need to worry about forKH3 then; which is fine with me as it has been spread all over the place and now we can get a solid line to go with. That and we’ll be able to play the franchise on our current gen systems. Unless the PS4 Pro doesn’t run it for some reason. That’s doubtful though.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX — Announce Trailer
The compilation packs six beloved Kingdom Hearts adventures on one disc, paving the way for fans to experience the journey leading up to the release of Kingdom Hearts III.
The full list of titles included in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX follows below:
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix
- Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
- Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain Of Memories
- Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX
- Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
- Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix
- Kingdom Hearts Re:coded
This does look like an amazing package for anyone new or old to the franchise as I know there are a couple titles mixed in here that I have yet to experience. Although what seems a bit more interesting is that Square Enix is trying to get the bundle out so we are all caught up before Kingdom Hearts III. There words too. Could this mean that a solid date and announcement for the next installment could be soon with a release date not far off from March 28th? It’s possible and I know I am hopeful for that. That would mean that we’d need to see something for Kingdom Hearts III soon but of course this is all in my head and not those that make the decisions.
Are you glad that you’ll get to experience most of the Kingdom Hearts franchise on the PS4 here soon? Do you think that this will stay the core of the story for the third game or will there be other references mixed in? Do you think this is all a build up for the third game to finally come out or is that just wishful thinking? Let us know what you are thinking and feel free to discuss in the comments below. For all things Kingdom Hearts, be sure to stay right here as we’ll keep bringing you all of the updates for the franchise as they come out.
