One more behind-the-scenes video for Rise Of The Ronin is out so we can further join the cause of our coming Ronin

It is time to go behind the scenes for Rise Of The Ronin once again with a look at The Cause we will be fighting for. At least that is the basics of what Team Ninja is offering up for this video with a lot more to take in. A lot more that will get us ready to take on the role of this ronin and the various bonds we will make along the way when we are able to on March 22nd when the game hits the PS5. Bonds that will not only flow in the story but also as part of the gameplay mechanics as we are all about to learn for the game here. Let us dive in and see what new elements we can glean from this latest behind-the-scenes look at the game.

In Rise Of The Ronin, we already knew that we were going to have various other characters we would need to interact with and grow with in the game. Even as we join the rise of the cause we are setting out on, and here we get to see that it will be more of a gameplay system out there instead of just a nice thing to say in the story. It looks as if these other characters will add more than an AI bot to the game as long as we take the time to get to know them. Their looks and music also play into a bit of it all too. All to make sure we have a well-rounded story in the mix and our ronin is not just out there trying to be an army of one. Even if some of the details are sparse, we do get to see it play out in the way of helping and doing things for each of them. All of them acts or service NPCs it would seem. It is nice to see that our lone ronin will have a few others to play with, all with their one looks and score to go with them. A solid little touch, but I am hoping that each will have a different way to grow those bonds during the game outside of us completing tasks or doing things they want to do. It would be interesting to see one of them have the whole “words of affirmation” as their only bonding aspect or another who just wants “quality time” instead of having to go to a location, do a thing, and come back to say we did a thing. That might not lead to a great experience in Rise Of The Ronin, but it is something to think about for other video games out there in the future that want to make use of a bonding system out there. Just something to ponder out there.

How do you think our Ronin will bond with these other characters and will it be outside of the normal way video games play it out? Would you want to play through a whole scene of bonding where it is nothing but two of the characters walking along a path and talking?
