Get ready for more ways to play Final Fantasy VII Remake, with the core game and Final Fantasy VII Remake INTERGRADE hitting the Switch 2
There is going to be so much for us to play at the start of 2026, as now we have the announcement that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on the same day that the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S will be getting the game. That date being January 22nd for those who missed out on the announcement when Square Enix made it before. It has been a bit of time, so that is understandable. Not to mention, they do need something to keep us all engaged with Final Fantasy VII Remake until the next massive chapter of the game drops out there. Something that still hasn’t even been hinted at as of yet. Not if it will be coming to many more platforms when it does, or will see the same staggered release as these titles have.
Just as we saw when Final Fantasy VII Remake INTERGRADE landed on the PS5 and later on the PC, this will come bundled with the core game and the expansion to the story. One solid place for those who had to hold out so long to play the games, so they can just rocket on through them all. Even if that does mean that there could still be a wait to get access to the third part of the story for them. It is rough for a Final Fantasy fan out there, but they are trying what they can to get us all squared away. For now, though, you can have a little look at how the game will most likely look on the consoles and if holding out is going to truly pay off. Even if it does feel like you might have missed some of the solid discourse that happened when the games originally launched a few years ago. That is a very long time when it comes to the gaming world.
