The release date for Black Myth: WuKong is now set with Black Myth hitting the PC in the Summer of next year
After all of the teasing and impressive gameplay looks, we finally have a release date for the upcoming Black Myth: Wukong. Well, at least if you are looking to experience the game on the PC. It looks like Game Science will need a little longer to get us the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game. Not a massive shock but still worth noting out of this announcement from The Game Awards this year. Nonetheless, we now get to know that Black Myth: WuKong will be landing out there in the world on August 20th, 2024. So, a little more of a wait but there is some end in sight for us to hold out for.
Now that we have the date out of the way, let us look at more of the gameplay footage and story we are going to have in Black Myth: WuKong. A story that will have us breaking free of destiny and based upon the Journey To The West novel in Chinese culture. All by giving us access to play as the “chosen one” yet again and facing off against various foes and monsters out there in the world. Some of these are truly inspiring and things that many out there might have seen before in general. I will not hold you back anymore and just let you see what is on the way to us all when Black Myth: WuKong launches out there. It even has a nice little post-credit scene to entice us all just a little more too.

Even though this is a story I have played many times before and through the lens of other video games out there, Black Myth: WuKong is still crazy high on my list of games to check out in the coming year. The visuals alone are spectacular and as long as the gameplay footage has never been altered, it is going to impress in that area too. Especially when compared to what other massive developers can do out there. I am a little worried about the English dubbing of the dialog and some of the voices used, but that feels like it is something that could be fixed during the next eight months we have to wait to get Black Myth: WuKong out there. I just know, though, there are going to be all of the purists arguing to just play it all with subs and call it a day. But we are a dubbed household here, so I will raspberry those remarks.
Are you amped up to see that we do not have to wait much longer to get to experience Black Myth: Wukong out there? Do you think the console gamers will have to wait much longer afterward or will it be another year before they get to see it all? How many times have you experienced the Journey To The West story in various forms of media and will this one be a huge difference? Head into the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else we have to offer up to the world out there. We are going to keep the news for Black Myth: WuKong flowing out there like water, so please keep on checking back for all of those updates and the many more we have on the way very soon.
