BeastLink Is Connecting Us Into An Early Access Very Soon

BeastLink — Early Access

The Early Access for BeastLink is ready for us all to link into, with BeastLink hooking us up to new kaiju

We’ve seen the announcement, there’s been a small playtest, and now it looks as if BeastLink is ready to kick off an Early Access on the PC. The game is still coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, so don’t think that Grove Street Games is holding back. It’s just not as easy to get all of this set up for the consoles. Especially when you see that BeastLink will be launching in Early Access on August 18th for the PC. Not much time to make sure the consoles are ready, while also making certain that all of the new beasts are ready for us to link into when we get into these Kaiju fights. If this is new to you, then let’s dive into what will be coming with the game when it hits the Early Access stage here soon.

Now that we all know when we will be able to hop into BeastLink, let’s talk about what we’ll all get to experience when that happens. This is a mix of a tactical vehicular combat game, along with a city-destroying kind of game. One where we will have to face off with other players to take control of the various kaiju that we will have in the game. Things like a massive Mandrill, Horned Lizard, Bull Shark, Spider, and Bat, to name a few. A beast that the name BeastLink alludes to us being able to take control of and bring the destruction of the cities ourselves. All as we have the other players trying to break the links, or taking us on with their own massive kaiju they have linked into. All so we can watch a fully-destructible world get torn apart for fun. Fun it certainly sounds and looks like it will be, if the following video we have out there is any indication of the things to come. Have a look.

BeastLink — Early Access

BeastLink combines tactical human-led missions and vehicular combat with the city-destroying, raw power of colossal Kaiju, including the Horned Lizard, Mandrill, Bull Shark, and Vampire Bat. BeastLink is monster-sized mayhem on an unprecedented scale – available August 18 for Steam Early Access and coming soon to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Built in Unreal Engine 5, the core of BeastLink is Grove Street’s proprietary SuperDestruction system that pushes environmental wreckage to a new level. This fully networked, physics-based system lets every player reshape the map as both human or Kaiju. With over 250,000 destructible objects and tens of millions of individual pieces, players can strategically reshape entire city blocks, turning urban environments into tactical rubble.

BeastLink drops players into massive, urban environments under siege by a variety of Kaiju. Players will navigate collapsing cityscapes on foot or choose from a variety of vehicles. They battle both human forces and roaming monsters to gather resources, which fuel an experimental procedure to Link with sleeping Kaiju. Once the BeastLink is established, the perspective shifts from tactical survival to city-shaking power as players tear through buildings and engage in massive, real-time monster brawls.

Launching with four distinct Kaiju that all play to their unique abilities, player combat ranges from brute force to aerial attacks or speed-based combat. Each match changes how players approach combat and movement through each city.

Where does BeastLink fit on your list of weird titles to play? How long will it be in Early Access before console gamers have a chance to experience it all? Will we see more of the beasts added in over time, and which ones would you like to see? How well will the human forces be able to fight back against all of these beasts out there? Let’s talk about all of that down in the comment section that we have. We’ll see what else we are going to get for BeastLink soon, so please watch the site and all of our socials for those updates. With any luck, we will not have to wait too long to get to see the game in its full glory, but now we do have a timeline. Let’s hope that the team is able to stick as close to it as possible out there.
