Those looking to give Babylon’s Fall a try will be able to download a demo for Babylon’s Fall very soon
It looks like those looking to test drive Babylon’s Fall before it hits the PS4 and PS5 will have their chance to do so. We are getting a demo on the platforms on February 25th as Platinum Games gears us all up for it all. Sadly, the PC will be missing out on this, but it is only a few days before Babylon’s Fall officially hits on March 3rd. That is unless you opted for the Deluxe Edition and want to start playing it all on February 28th. It is quite a bit of a split of dates for those that want to gather their friends and head on out there. We just have one more way added in now and maybe we will see more if it keeps up.
Unlike many of the other demos out there, though, the Babylon’s Fall demo will offer up multiple hours of the game for us to experience that will also carry over to the full release of the game if you so choose to do so. Something that will give us all a significant head-start once the full title goes live, as they are stating here. It does feel a bit off to allow for all of that, but it will be a good way to get players out there and experience Babylon’s Fall in general. I am sure that it is the hope to convert it all to purchases of the game, but it could also lead to those canceling the game just before launch if it does not offer up a great experience in the opening hours of the game. It is a gamble, but they have to have some faith in it all for this.
Square Enix announced that PlayStation owners will have access to a free downloadable demo of Babylon’s Fall beginning on February 25, 2022.
The demo gives PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 players access to the opening section of the game where both single-player and four-player cross-play co-op can be experienced for free. All progress and achievements will be carried over to the full version of the game on PlayStation platforms following the official launch on March 3. Those who pre-order Babylon’s Fall Digital Deluxe Edition will receive early access to the full game on February 28. Square Enix also announced that all players of Babylon’s Fall will get the Premium Battle Pass for free during Season 1.
Developed in partnership with renowned action specialists, Platinum Games, the demo provides multiple hours of story content and limitless multi-player to give players a significant head-start for strengthening their Sentinel. The early stages of the game will introduce players to the immense power a Sentinel wields on the battlefield, but also the burden and unwanted responsibility they carry for saving the city that surrounds the Tower. It quickly becomes apparent that only through a Sentinel’s efforts and sacrifices will the secrets and treasures of the Tower be unveiled.
Featuring fluid co-op-combat, powerful weapons, and a unique, striking art style, the epic world of Babylon’s Fall can be played solo or in parties up to four. Following the launch, Babylon’s Fall will continue to be supported with new game modes, ongoing story content, and additional weapon types at no additional cost. Babylon’s Fall is launching worldwide on the PlayStation 5 console, PlayStation 4, and PC on March 3, 2022.
Have you been hoping to get in early for Babylon’s Fall or will it be something that could bite the team in the end? Do you think it will spoil too much of the game to get new players involved or will it be something that hooks them all in? Would you want to see more of this in the future or would you rather have demos that tease and show the basics instead of letting things all carry over from it all? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. We will share anything more that we get for Babylon’s Fall, so be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and more. I have a feeling this one could pay off for us all.
