A new Star Wars title is on the way, with an era that many have been waiting for within Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic
Talk about a massive announcement that happened during The Game Awards this year… Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic is on the way to us and looking to take us all back to the era that so many fans have been missing over the decades. All from Arcanaut Studios and led by Casey Hudson, along with the guidance of Lucasfilm Games to make sure it stays in the Star Wars setting perfectly. I know I lost so much time to the Knights Of The Old Republic when it first dropped out there, and with this being the spiritual successor to that game, I can only see more time going into the IP yet again. But, I’m getting ahead of myself here. Let’s discuss what we can about this one, even if that is going to be a little at this point.
If one of those names mentioned there for Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic sounds familiar, that is because Casey Hudson is known for work on Knights Of The Old Republic and the Mass Effect titles. That should be some exciting news, as the video below that we have does not show much of the game, but this little nugget tells us that the single-player narrative-driven RPG it is will be in some good hands. Even if so many didn’t like some of the later games in one of those IPs. That’s neither here nor there, as it does look as if the main people behind Star Wars will be there to help shape it into another game that will give the fans exactly what they have been hoping for over the decades. At least one fan, fight here. Have a little look at what was shown off, and see the world and setting that this is all going down in. Even if this is all a bit of sizzle more than anything to help build the hype that it’s actually happening out there and not just another of the many remakes we have been getting.
