It is time to get all of that lore theorizing going again, as we have a brand new trailer for the Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 movie. This is why I prefer to have weird subtitles for films, as it would make it easier to distinguish between the Blumhouse projects and the video games, but that is me nitpicking. Something that is starting to ramp up, as we all know, the Five Nights At Freddy’s fanbase will do that for the films and various games out there. Just in time to get the ball rolling with this film hitting theaters on December 5th, so we have a month to dive into what we have to see here and see if it will change any of the rules or lore that has been established in the IP up to now. As confusing as all of that truly is.
Interestingly, it does look as if Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 will be dealing with things outside of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza as much as inside. Also, it will be bringing back many of the actors and animatronics that made the games so much fun and the first film to new heights. With the bigger thing looking as if those animatronics will be able to roam the city and cause even more pain than the characters might have thought before. As we see the lore of the world fleshed out in flashbacks, with one looking as if it will go back to a point that many Five Nights At Freddy’s fans have been looking forward to. That being the bite of 83, or is it the bite of 87? So confusing, but maybe the film will help dictate all of that for us out there.

Former security guard Mike (Josh Hutcherson) and police officer Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail) have kept the truth from Mike’s 11-year-old sister, Abby (Piper Rubio), concerning the fate of her animatronic friends.
But when Abby sneaks out to reconnect with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, it will set into motion a terrifying series of events, revealing dark secrets about the true origin of Freddy’s, and unleashing a long-forgotten horror hidden away for decades.
The cast of Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 includes returning co-stars Theodus Crane as Jeremiah and the legendary Matthew Lillard as William Afton. The film features new characters played by Freddy Carter (Shadow and Bone, Pennyworth), Wayne Knight (Jurassic Park, Seinfeld), Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters franchise, Annabelle Comes Home), and horror icon Skeet Ulrich (Scream, Riverdale).
Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 is directed by acclaimed returning filmmaker Emma Tammi and is written by game series creator Scott Cawthon.
The film is produced by Blumhouse founder and CEO Jason Blum and Scott Cawthon, who together produced the first film. The executive producers are director Emma Tammi, Beatriz Sequeira, Christopher Warner, Russell Binder, and Marc Mostman.
The first Freddy’s film opened to a record-shattering $80 million in October 2023 and went on to earn almost $300 million worldwide.
