The next film in the Five Nights At Freddy’s line is one the way and we have a new teaser to look at for the upcoming Five Nights At Freddy’s 2
In the wee hours of the night, for some, it looks as if the animatronics have crept out there and offered up a new teaser for the upcoming Five Nights At Freddy’s 2. This would be the film that Blumhouse is making based on the IP and not some new rehashing of the original video game with the same name. It can get tricky when translating all of an IP between multiple mediums and talking about them. Nonetheless, a teaser is out there to show off the early stages of the film and just where the Five Nights At Freddy’s films will be taking the story when this one hits theaters this coming December. Not the best of release windows, I would think, for this one but it does look as if this film will be taking us to new places in the universe.
As you will see in the following video for Five Nights At Freddy’s 2, it looks as if the animatronics will be leaving the pizzeria a bit more and doing some hunting outside. We are still going to get a lot of the classic things the IP is known for too, but it does look like nowhere in the town is safe. Unless this is all a prequel of sorts to show us how and why things got such down. I mentioned that as we do get to see the main surviving cast from the first Five Nights At Freddy’s film up and about, but also a few new shots that take us back to what looks like the past. Possibly, there are two running storylines in the mix so we get backstory and not all of the wild fan theories out there, but also get to see why our protagonists are facing off with the killer animatronics once more after seemingly making peace from before.

Based on Scott Cawthon’s blockbuster game series, Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 is directed by acclaimed returning filmmaker Emma Tammi (The Wind, Blood Moon).
The first film, which opened to a record-shattering $80 million and went on to earn almost $300 million worldwide, followed Mike, a troubled young man who reluctantly takes a job as a night security guard at an abandoned theme restaurant, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, hoping it will help him retain custody of his young sister. That fateful decision instead drags him into the black heart of a supernatural nightmare.
Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 is again produced by Jason Blum (M3GAN, Black Phone, Halloween franchise) and Scott Cawthon.
