OD Is Knocking On Our Door To Terrify Us All

OD — Knock

A new trailer for OD is out there and showing us why we need to truly be afraid to OD

It feels like it has been forever since we had the announcement for OD, and now we have a fun new look at the horrors that it will bring us. Just in time for the Halloween season, with how Kojima Productions has planned this out. That or it is just about that time that they show us what this game might be about when it does launch on the PC and Xbox Series X|S in the future. There was not much given to us all the first time we saw OD, so maybe this time we will have a whole lot more to drink in. If anything, maybe it will give us a bit to speculate on. Then again, who are we kidding? This developer does not like to make it all easy for us to do out there.

All of that out of the way now, we can have a look at the nice and long video we have for OD. A video that does not offer up much in the way of what is going on, as we thought, but still might offer up something. Well, beyond the fact that we will be seeing some photorealistic versions of actors in the mix of this horror title. A title that also looks to be using what Kojima did in the past with P.T., but in a fully realized way. That is, at least, based on the fact that we have another lone protagonist locked in a creepy place trying to escape. All before the horrible entities of OD help them to end with all of their living. Be that in a supernatural state or, as the video kind of suggests, in a state that takes their true essence away and has them vanish from the world. Given who this is working on it, I am sure it is a lot stranger than that and not going to be as deep as an additional cautionary tale.

OD — Knock

A Hideo Kojima Game, OD explores the concept of testing your fear threshold, and what it means to OD on fear – while blurring the boundaries of gaming and film. The new teaser for OD also reveals Sophia Lillis (“Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves”), Hunter Schaffer (“Euphoria”), and Udo Kier (“Flesh for Frankenstein”), who will play the lead roles in the upcoming project.

Did you forget that OD was on the way to us, or have you been counting the days until we finally got to see it all in action again? Do you think this is going to be the title that they wanted to make before P.T. was dropped, or is it just going to use some of those influences to keep it going? What do you think will be the deeper meaning behind the story of all of this, or will it just be another odd tale for the team to tell to the world? Make your way down to the comment section to discuss any and all of that as you so wish to do. We are going to keep our eyes open for more for OD, so please keep on checking in here for all of that and anything further that could be out there.
