Get caught up with Dying Light before we see the full launch of Dying Light: The Beast this week
We are about to start our new run with Dying Light: The Beast on September 19th when the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This is something I know a whole lot of us have been hyped for. That said, it has been a bit of time since the first game in the storyline of Kyle came out, so Techland, though it is wise to get us all caught up. That does mean running us through the events of the original game and Dying Light: The Following. Thankfully, in a quick way, just as we have seen in the game, with this recap, parkouring its way through all of the basic highlights we will need to know. So, kick back and get ready to have all of this story rundown in just a couple of minutes. Unless you want to power through all of the games in full before the end of this week.
Just in case you have missed out, or forgot, the events of Dying Light for Kyle Crane went down a little something like this. Kyle was a mercenary who was hired by a corporation to go extract a few things from a part of the world that was going through some turmoil. That turmoil was the release of a virus that gave us all of the infected those who were running around the area. After securing a few things and making a few friends along the way, Kyle runs into a cult of sorts and is infected with a different strain of the same thing. Doing a bit more running and making a few more friends in Dying Light: The Following, Kyle is then captured once more to be tested on by his original employers. Now, it The Beast, Kyle is breaking free and going on a rampage to get some vengeance against them all. I just hope Kyle does not forget to take out some revenge… If that was not enough of a spoiler-free recap for you, you can look a little lower down and get a better one.
