A new location is coming for Dying Light: The Beast that will offer up some Summer fun in the growing Dying Light universe
Just before the Summer has come to a close, Dying Light: The Beast will be taking us back into a summer camp and giving us so much more to survive. A new location that will be overrun with infected and allow Techland to shape the world just a bit more. Not just after the fall of it all, but after things have shifted since the start of the original Dying Light title we have had. As long as you are ready to run back into the fray on August 22nd when it all flows out for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That is a bit of the basics, but here is Bober the Beaver to explain things just a bit more.
In the new video, we get to see the fun tourism mascot offering up a look at Castor Woods in the world of Dying Light. A fun little summer camp area that has been ravaged by time and the undead, but still filled with all of the fun we could expect out there. All of that, and the various little secrets that were hidden under the surface, that we will now have access to since the world has fallen. That or we will just get to see where all of the staff lived and what they were getting up to before the infected of Dying Light rushed in and killed them all. A good little time and you can have a slice of that fun in the latest video we have to share with you for it all.
Dying Light: The Beast — Bober the Beaver: Visit Castor Woods!
My name’s Bober the Beaver, and I’m your very own Castor Woods Tour Rep. Now, you might be curious why a beaver like myself is writing to you. Well, let me tell you!
I’m inviting you to Castor Woods!
Right now, vacation season’s in full swing, and you’re probably thinkin’, “Oh man, it’s so hot now, and it’s been so long since I had some time off. I wish I was relaxing somewhere nice, with fresh air, luscious nature… and maybe even a cool beaver nearby.” Well, we’ve got all that and more! I know, I know… you need convincing. So here’s a brand new commercial that I filmed, all by myself!
You see? Castor Woods isn’t just a destination, it’s the vacation of a LIFETIME. Yes, this place has its…charm. It’s full of surprises with a lot to discover, and a few secrets just under the surface to keep things exciting!
But, you might be curious about what kind of connection beavers have with “Castor Woods”. Well, let me tell you, it’s right in the name! Did you know that “Castor” is actually the scientific name for beaver? That’s right! Castor Woods literally means “Beaver Woods,” and you’ll quickly see why when you visit! A small hint: beavers once saved the valley from a great flood by building a huge dam, and ever since then, they’ve become an official symbol of the region.
As for myself, I’m Castor Woods’ favorite mascot and it’s my absolute passion to make sure every single visitor receives a warm welcome and feels right at home. I truly love this place, and I will personally make sure your trip will be the best it can be!
So, what are you waiting for? Your next great adventure is just a click away! Castor Woods promises an experience you definitely won’t forget.
Now, there’s just one question: Are you ready to join me August 22nd for the beast summer ever?
What do you think was going down at the camp before the world went to Hells out there in Dying Light? Will there be some hidden bunker under the camp for us to explore, or will the hidden secrets just be resources that have yet to be found in the world? Will there be all of the fun of the normal camp areas, with us being able to use it all, or will it just be set dressing and not much more? Run on down to the comments and let your brains leak out into the discussion. We will have a bit more for Dying Light: The Beast as we get closer to the launch, so please keep an eye out for all of that and everything else that we can offer out there into the world to enjoy.
