Split Fiction Will Be Crossing Over To The Nintendo Switch 2

Split Fiction — Nintendo Switch 2 Announcement

Another way to play Split Fiction is on the way with the announcement that Split Fiction will be coming to Switch 2

Here we go with some good news out there for those having issues finding others to play Split Fiction with them. It looks like we are going to have a whole new console opening up its doors to allow for more of the cross-platform play with Hazelight Studios bringing the game on over to the Nintendo Switch 2. That will require more gamers to pick up the new console, sure, but there is already a massive subsection of gamers who are full in on the platform and will not deviate so that should be an easy sell. They will just also be able to pick up Split Fiction on the console on June 5th when all of it launches out there into the world.

While it is nice to know that Split Fiction will be making its way over to the newer system, it is hard to say if this is just going to be a direct port over or if the teams will be implementing anything specific for the features of the newer system. Not that there seems to be much that they could do, but we have no word on if that will actually be a thing they are taking advantage of. Thankfully, it does look as if Split Fiction is going to look and run as smoothly as it does on the other platforms already, as we can see in the following video we have that announces this new release. All of it stated to be captured on the Switch 2 and assuming it is using the higher output that playing on the dock of the Switch 2 will allow for.

How well do you think Split Fiction is going to truly run on the Switch 2 and will it compare to the versions that are currently out there? Do you think the game is going to look as nice on the small screen as it will on all of the other large screens or will that just be the cost of playing the game on the go? Will we see any of the other console features and abilities come into play for this title or will it just be a direct port over and not much more?
