The gameplay for Star Wars Zero Company takes center stage, as we finally get to see a bit of how Star Wars Zero Company will handle
It looks as if every move we make in Star Wars Zero Company needs to count, as long as we want to master the gameplay that will be heading our way. That feels a bit like a given, but it’s something that Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment are hammering home in the latest gameplay we have to look at. Since Star Wars Zero Company does land on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this August 27th, I’d venture a guess it will be good to know what is on the way. Especially as the new gameplay might lead you to think this is a normal action title instead of the action turn-based tactics game that it is. That might be a letdown to some of you, but a bonus for those who have been jonesing for a new title in that genre and in a galaxy far, far away.
This new gameplay for Star Wars Zero Company makes sure to know we are going to have a good mix of things we’ve come to expect from a title in the genre and IP. That is, we’ll have a good bit of action while moving all of our characters around and watching as they engage in all of the combat. Sometimes with the basics, and it looks like we might have some of the bigger displays fire off with other abilities. Given that this video is cut with animated scenes and actual gameplay, it might be hard to say that it is all going to flow as it would in the game. Many of the scenes do feel like they could be generated to help tell the story more than to be anything we should expect to play out. Which is still going to be nice, but something to make sure you’re all aware of before tossing out your money for Star Wars Zero Company and expecting a video game that you might not get. Have a look at it all in motion just a bit further down to see what I am talking about. If anything, it is filled with all of the charm that the current state of the IP has out there.
