Even in defeat, the Gahars never truly die. They retreat into darkness and bide their time until the opportunity to arise again is upon them…

Morbid: The Lords Of Ire is a continuation and reinvention of the critically acclaimed isometric Souls-like ARPG Morbid: The Seven Acolytes with the heroic Striver returning once more to do battle with horrific creatures in a dark and twisted world of pain and suffering.

Still Running is proud to finally share the release date for Morbid: The Lords Of Ire! May 23rd, mark your calendars!

A demo is also up at Steam and PS5 Store, go give it a go and make sure to wishlist the game if you like what you see.

I have to say, I have not jumped into the world of Morbid as of yet but this new title does seem to fit my preferences out there. Even if there is that whole Souls-like element listed for it all. I guess this is why we have a demo out there, for people just like myself. The visuals look fun and the right levels of dark, but on paper, Morbid: The Lords Of Ire would not sound like a title I would enjoy. I guess I know what title I will be mixing into the rotation here soon so I can get ready to mark down this release date or keep the day clear for something else that better fits my taste.

Have you been in for the world of Morbid already and have been waiting for this next title to drop out there? How dark and sinister do you think this one will go and will the new space offer us something further engaging? Will you be playing the demo of the game right now or hold off to get the full experience this coming May instead? Head into the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else that we have to share on the site for you. We will have what we can for Morbid: The Lords Of Ire, so please come on back to see and hear about all of that as we get closer to the launch of the game.
