More Dishonored 2 gameplay has been released and now we get to see how we can exfiltrate missions in Dishonored 2 no matter the chaos
So far we’ve seen the many ways to get in and kill our targets in Dishonored 2 but we all know that is only half of the challenge in the game as getting back out undetected or not is the other half we have to worry about. Of course Arkane Studios could have taken the easy way out and made it so we didn’t have to worry about that but then what fun would that be? Just as before, we have a new bit of gameplay for Dishonored 2 to show off just how we can get out of all the situations we set up using the full range of powers granted to us in the game. All in time before Bethesda brings us the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 11th.
For the most part here there isn’t much in new powers or ways to use them in Dishonored 2 but it does show how each of the two characters can go about sneaking their way back out of the missions. If you are looking for something completely new though you may be a bit remiss. I wasn’t able to spot any new power, ability, or object to get the two back out of this odd house they found themselves in. I’m sure there is more to it all than just what we have here but I guess it’s good for those trying to stay spoiler free for the whole game as I can’t see much of a story being mixed in here although I am sure there is something huge here given the level of chaos going on.
Dishonored 2 — Daring Escapes
When sticking around to fight isn’t the right response to a situation, sometimes you need to have a quick (and stylish) exit strategy. Daring Escapes video highlights some new elements of Dishonored 2’s robust powers system. Choose your path for Emily and Corvo or watch them all.
Watch as Emily and Corvo escape the witches in the Royal Conservatory using all of the abilities at their disposal. Sometimes a rapid retreat demands that a little blood be spilled.
What do you think about the escape routes taken here in Dishonored 2 that we’re going to get to here soon? Do you think that this mission will always lead to a high chaos escape or was this just something exciting for us to see? Are you hoping that we will get to see some other great powers being used in new ways before the launch? Let us know what you are thinking and feel free to discuss in the comments below. For more on Dishonored 2 as we get it, be sure to stick right here as we’ll keep bringing you everything that we can as we get closer to November 11th.
