There is a lot more content for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 on the way to make sure we have all kinds of Warhammer 40,000 in the world
After landing on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC not too long ago, it is time to announce all of the future updates coming to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Thankfully, most of these will be included in the price of admission to the game and not a way to further milk the fans by Saber Interactive. At least for the parts that are actually adding in new features for the game and more reasons to head back in. For those who like to pay for their DLC, though, you will be getting a whole lot of cosmetics and other extras based around which version of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 you picked up. All are still to come, but let us have a look at just what some of those will be as we end out this year and then head toward the next year of content for the game.
While these updates are going to drop regularly into the next year, the first bit coming to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will bring us a new Termination operation and a new difficulty mode called Lethal. All for just owning the game and having an internet connection to download it all. There will also be a bit more of a focus on some of the PvE and some other cosmetics with new weapons and Death Angels getting a bit more added into the missions and modes. I am sure all of that means a whole lot to the hardcore Warhammer 40,000 fans out there, but for the general video game players, here is a look at all of the action you can soon have in your game along with all of your friends who may have also downloaded the game back when it launched. A whole lot of fun can be had again and soon.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 — Post-Launch Overview
The first major update, featuring the Termination operation and Lethal Difficulty mode, is coming for free to all players very, very soon. For the rest of this year and throughout 2025, new content will keep coming to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Free updates include the upcoming Neo-Volkite pistol, and later, new PvE operations, PvP maps and modes, as well as a blood-pumping Horde Mode with just one challenge: survive. Further awesome cosmetics for all your favorite Space Marine chapters are also on the way soon.
Alongside the free updates dropping regularly in the months to come, developer Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment will soon bring the Season Pass to life with a Dark Angels theme pack. New weapon styles, armor pieces, and color schemes featuring the Unforgiven are coming soon as part of the first Season Pass, expanding the already numerous customization options to unlock in the Battle Barge.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is available on all platforms.
Were you expecting all of this Warhammer 40,000 content to keep on flowing or did you think it was going to be dropped and only the required updates to come? How big will these seasonal updates of content be on the free side when compared to the paid side going forward? Will the cosmetics of it all be worth it or is it just a way that gamers have been tricked into paying more for a game so they can use different colors in the mix of things? Venture on down to the comment section to discuss all of that and everything else we have going on for this one. We will keep on bringing the updates for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, so please keep on checking back in for all of that and everything else we have to offer up for all of the other titles coming out there.
