A new press kit for Wanted: Dead came to the office and we unbox the explosive contents to build more hype for the launch of Wanted: Dead
There is no denying that marketing campaigns for video games can get a little wild out there to spread extra hype for a release, and Wanted: Dead is not going to be a stranger to all of that here. I say this, as 110 Industries sent one over to our offices here to not only build up hype for the game but also give some other samples of what to expect in the game. Wanted: Dead is hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 14th, so now would be the best time to build all of that up. And what better way to do that than to send us a Cookbook and a Grenade to give us all of those mixed feelings and curiosity as to what is going to go on in the game? Yes, this is more for the shock value to keep you reading on now.
Usually when these come out, there are to build some level of goodwill with members of the media and give us all something fun to show off for the game. Here for Wanted: Dead, we get a nice box filled with the soundtrack for the game in various mediums, a cookbook based around some of the other marketing going on for the game, and a replica grenade in the mix. One that is based more on the game itself instead of anything in the real world, thankfully. All of which to highlight more of the other side of Wanted: Dead beyond just the basic hack-and-slash kind of thing. Have a look at the new unboxing we have and see some of the fun stuff that has been added into the world just for the game. These are meant to build goodwill when it comes to looking at the title, and our view will not be skewed at all by it, but it is fun to see how much faith the teams have in their title to send things like this out. It can be seen as a great sign when all is said and done.
Wanted: Dead — Press Kit Unboxing
Hades and the AgrroTeam were sent a shiny little press kit to promote the upcoming title Wanted: Dead from Soleil and 110 Industries. The game launches on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 14th, 2023. Follow along as Hades unboxes everything and gets a nice little explosive ending to it all.
Would getting something like this for yourself make you want to play Wanted: Dead more or just confuse you as to what is going on? Does this seem like the team has massive faith in their game to go to these lengths or do you think this is a way to obfuscate what could be going on behind the scenes? Is this just a banger of a soundtrack that you will want to bump out there and will you be building it up on your streaming platforms in the coming days now? Sound off down in the comments what your thoughts on all of this are and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish to do. More for Wanted: Dead will be on the way on the site, for sure, so please keep checking back for all of that and everything else that we can offer up to you.
