Walking & Our Microphones Are Going To Be Adding In Something Supernatural

Supernatural — Gameplay Reveal

A new horror title, Supernatural, is on the way with Supernatural using our microphones to talk to the entities in the game

We just cannot seem to get enough of the horror walking simulation games out there, and now we have Supernatural on the way to us on the PC to give us more. As long as it is able to keep the July timeline that it is currently set with. Not much time if they need to change the title of the game with Supernatural being used so many times over with other IPs out there, but it does still fit the game we have here. A game that will have us facing off with something from the other side while also allowing us to use our real-world microphones to interact with it all too. All with another twist that we might be able to actually fight back as well.

Naming aside, Supernatural will place us into another mystery out there where the world looks real for a video game and we are playing the role of Detective Wyatt. A detective who is setting out to solve the disappearance of a housemaid that looks like it went down in a haunted house. From there, we will need to mind what we say in the real world as Supernatural will require our microphones to be on. All so the spooks can hear us, stalk us, and respond as we ask questions. At least to some degree or it would be hard to define three different endings for this fun little horror romp coming out there.

Supernatural — Gameplay Reveal

Detective Wyatt confronts a chilling mystery as he investigates a housemaid’s disappearance. Unearth sinister secrets as you navigate through a haunted house, where every shadow hides a lurking terror.

Features:

  • Created by a solo developer.
  • Utilize your microphone to communicate with a supernatural entity.
  • Remember, your microphone is always listening. The louder you are, the scarier events the game will prepare for you.
  • 3 endings, each solely in your hands. Will you manage to unravel the mystery, or not? Or perhaps you’ll uncover a secret ending?
  • At the very end, Detective Wyatt will draw his weapon to face the ultimate challenge. Will you show calm and composure to avoid death?
  • Non-repetitive logical puzzles, will you be able to demonstrate your detective intelligence?
  • Use cameras to locate paranormal events that will aid you in unraveling the mystery.

Just as the bodycam horror games, it feels like the microphone horror games are making a good run with Supernatural adding to that growing list. I am curious to find out if it will be using some form of AI to generate responses or to understand what we are saying, or if this will all be about us just making noise and the entities are just reacting to that. The video for Supernatural does make it feel as if we will be able to interact with them all, but until I see some live gameplay, that is going to be more on the assumption side of things instead of on the gameplay features. Thankfully, we only have a few months to wait for all of that to drop on us.

How deep do you think that the vocal interactions will go in Supernatural or will it just be us making noise? Is it interesting to see that we will be able to draw a weapon in a game like this or will it just be something to mix things up with no real bearing? Will this title need to change its name at some point or will it be able to launch without any issue going forward? Wander down to the comment section to discuss all of that and everything else we have to share with the world out there. We will give more for Supernatural as soon as we have it, so please keep on checking back in here for all of those updates and the many others we have yet to come.
