The release date for The Persistence Enhanced is set with this version of The Persistence hitting the next-gen this coming June
Some out there have been waiting a bit to finally get their hands on with The Persistence Enhanced since it was announced that this upgrade for the original game would bring it all over to the next-gen systems properly. Also give a nice little boost for those playing on the PC with the hardware that can handle it all. It was always listed as coming soon from Firesprite Games and now we know about when this “soon” is going to be. In fact, we can now mark it down that The Persistence Enhanced will be hitting the PS5 and Xbox Series X on June 4th so we can see more of the horror in the mix of it all too. Great news indeed for those that felt like they were missing something from before.
Now that we have a date, we can have a look at just what will be changing for The Persistence here and just what it could do to torment us all just a bit more. All of which looks to be the usual better resolutions and framerates to run the game in and all of the dynamic lighting that we can expect to play with here too. The PS5 will allow for some of those new DualSense feedback controls and then there is that Raytracing that some of those graphics cards out there can do. All of which will be coming as a standalone for the systems or as a free upgrade for those that already picked up The Persistence on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC already. All the standard things when it comes to these kinds of upgrades to more recent titles out there.

The Persistence Enhanced dials up the atmosphere and tension further with improved lighting and particle effects and the addition of a Raytracing ‘Quality’ mode for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, which also includes immersive haptic feedback via DualSense.
