Alfred Hitchcock — Vertigo — Dev Diary: The Music Of Vertigo

A new developer diary for Alfred Hitchcock — Vertigo is here to show us all how the music and audio will build into the overall of Vertigo

We all know that music and audio will help make a game and now we are here to see how it will build into Alfred Hitchcock — Vertigo for us. Given how the source material for the game used it all, it would make sense that Pendulo Studios would lean into all of that to aid the game too. Not only in just the basic audio of Vertigo but the iconic style for the score to it all. All of which is highlighted out there now with the latest developer diary to share off how they are working it all. All so we can get ready for the game to hit us on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC on December 16th this year. Not too far off and now we can hear how it will flow for us.

Just as you would think, it is who different way to build the audio and music in Vertigo here as with every video game out there. Most of it comes down to the fact that things are more dynamic for the player and audience to have to plan for than with film or television. This requires the team to think about how it could shift at any moment and try to plan for it and lead into the set themes of it all. That and work in some of the background music into how the characters in Vertigo are acting and hiding things along the way. It is fun to think about and see, and this new video does give us a little more gameplay to take in with the mix of all of the music here. Have a look, listen to it all, and get ready for the game to launch out there.
