New looks at the Suicide Squad are coming with a look at the digital deluxe version of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League
What if you found out that you could be playing Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League earlier next week? Would you want to jump in and give everything Rocksteady has for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC a go before most of everyone else? If that sounds like you, then you might want to give a thought to preordering the Digital Deluxe version of the game. Along with some other extras for the game, it looks like we could all be hopping onto the servers as early as January 30th if we want to. Everyone else would be waiting until February 2nd. An odd choice to go with for a game that is leaning into online co-op play, but it could be an option if you want to get all of your friends on board before the full launch out there.
If you are looking for more to add to the Suicide Squad outside of getting a bit of a head start in playing the game, this version of the game also comes along with a bunch of other cosmetics to add in. We will have some golden dolls, other paint jobs, the ability to go black and white, and the Justice League costumes for the team to wear. A whole lot of cosmetics for a slightly elevated price. So, if you do not want to just grind things out with the Suicide Squad, you can drop some extra cash to have something to help you stand out a bit more in your online play. To be honest, that is where all of this is going to truly shine more, and not just for those looking to explore the narrative at home alone.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League — Digital Deluxe Edition
Your mission is starting sooner than you think, Task Force X. Pre-order Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Deluxe Edition to take on Brainiac and traverse Metropolis starting January 30th. See you there!
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is available 02-02-2024 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
I know I’ve said it before, as have many other outlets, but Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is feeling more and more like a title that has deviated away from the main source it is coming from. Not in the way of leaving the DC comics, but in the way that none of this is feeling like it is in line with the Arkham games. Not only in the gameplay loop and basic mechanics but now even in the cosmetics and add-ons we have. The other games had them, sure, but they felt like they were a nice little extra and not something needed for the game. All of this feels like we are getting sold a nice little digital card that will show off to other players of the Suicide Squad that we were willing to spend more on the game than they did. Maybe it is just me and not understanding the need to have flashy cosmetics in a video game, but this all feels more like a status symbol instead of something to add to the enjoyment of the game.
Do you like what is being offered up in the digital deluxe version of the Suicide Squad or do you think there should be better cosmetics in the mix? Is it odd to allow for a small number of players to jump into the grind early or will this entice more to preorder and give it all a solid go? How many more costumes do you think we will need to pay for or will they all be available for those who want to spend hours playing the game? Take to the comment section to discuss all of this and anything else for the game. There is more on the way for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, so please keep on checking back for those updates and the many others that we will see in the coming week.
