Street Fighter 6 has a new collaboration with the TMNT along with a teaser for the next DLC character joining in Street Fighter 6 very soon
It feels like this was about to be a given with how Capcom likes to cross over with other IPs out there, but starting on August 8th, Street Fighter 6 will be seeing a whole new wave of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the mix of things. Sadly, not in the way of new fighters specifically, but with some extra customization options out there for our avatars in Street Fighter 6 along with many other little nods to the original show, films, and comics that the TMNT have been part of longer than this IP has been around out there. I guess it does help that there is the new film to lean into as well to boost some of the video game sales out there too.
While it would have been cool to see any of the four turtles show up full in Street Fighter 6, we are going to have to lean into the skins, gear, emotes, and stamps we are going to be getting in the mix here. We will get some new wallpapers and camera frames to use in the Photo Mode of it all too. All so we can turn the Battle Hub into the retro TMNT look just for our Street Fighter fun out there. Even if it would make sense to have them be here as guest characters and DLC. that might have been a little too much for the licensing, though, so we will just have to go with what we are getting.
Street Fighter 6 — Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collaboration
Cowabunga! Scarf down that slice of pizza and get ready for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Street Fighter 6 collaboration on August 8.

Street Fighter 6 is now available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
Speaking of DLC, though, we have a small look at the new DLC character on the way to Street Fighter 6. Sometime this Fall, we will be seeing A.K.I. joining the fight and bringing along all manner of poisons to attack the fighters with. Not the kind of character I would expect in a Street Fighter game, but it is something else to add to the roster in the mix too. Even if it is unlikely that the poisons will have any effect on the fight outside of maybe some weird cosmetics in the mix. Have a look at the teaser for A.K.I. and then wait to see how the gameplay will actually be handled for this one later in the year.
Street Fighter 6 — A.K.I.
A maniacal poison aficionado, A.K.I. can’t wait to sink her nails into her opponents as the second character from Year 1.
Owners of the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition or the Year 1 Character Pass and Ultimate Pass of Street Fighter 6 will obtain A.K.I. when she releases in Autumn 2023.
Did you always suspect that the TMNT would be hoping into the Street Fighter world here or is it a nice little surprise? Would you have rather had one of them as a fighter in the game or will it be nice to see all of the avatars don the costumes until the next big crossover event? How do you feel about A.K.I. joining the fight and will it make more sense once we get to see that action? Head into the comment section and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish to do. We will share more for Street Fighter 6 once we get it all, so please keep checking back for all of those updates and many, many more.
