Sand Land Tells Us The Story Again… But In English

Sand Land — English Story

The English dubbed version of Sand Land’s story trailer is here to better sell others on picking gup Sand Land

A short while ago, we had a look at the story coming at us all for Sand Land. Some of you lost your minds over it while others let it slip on by given that Bandai Namco was treating it like an anime and manga. That being that they left it all in its original form and did not make it easy for non-Japanese speakers to understand it all. True to form for all of this, we have a new version of that trailer to take in that also follows the same suit. We have the English dubbed version of the story for Sand Land here. All so the ever long fight of Subbed over Dubbed can rage right on. Something I am sure will fight right on until the game finally lands on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

There is truly not much more for Sand Land in the mix that we did not already get. Well, outside of getting to hear the voice actors bringing the story to light and giving us the voices many English speakers are going to hear moving forward. Just as it does in the anime and manga worlds, some of them do reshape how some of the characters feel overall in the mix. This is just from the tone and pitch that the new voices give the characters, but something I can see helping Sand Land for so many others out there. I never saw the main character as being a hopeful protagonist before, but that is what I am getting in this new version of it all. The same goes with how the other characters are portrayed in the mix of things here too. Have a look and a listen to see if you are feeling the same way about all of this out there.

Sand Land — English Story

As the Fiend Prince, Beelzebub has many talents… including speaking English. 😈 Check out the Sand Land story trailer once more, this time with the first-ever reveal of the English dub!

A new trailer of Sand Land shows more about this world turned into a scorching desert, where the greed of the King makes life impossible for its inhabitants by controlling access to water. Sheriff Rao strongly believes another oasis, capable of ending the terrible drought, is here somewhere…

In order to find this Legendary Spring, Rao knows he cannot undertake this dangerous journey alone and travels to the Demon Village to seek help. With the consent of the King of Demons, Beelzebub the Friend Prince and his chaperone Thief join Sheriff Rao on their thirstiest adventure ever, searching the world for this life-saving spring.

As they progress in their journey, the group realizes they shouldn’t let their guard down as heat and thirst are not their only enemies. General Are, accompanied by the Royal Army, will pursue Beelzebub and his companions around the world and try to stop them.

Sand Land is set to release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

To go a step further, and this is a personal thing more than anything, I find this version of Sand Land to hit me a bit better than the previous version of it all. The other actors, to me, sounded a bit more robotic in delivery and as if they were treating it like a normal anime out there. Like it was missing the nuance of some sort. Again, that is my personal perception of it all and I know my experience is vastly different than others. I am sure that many will find the opposite and think I am crazy, but I am always a dubbed person when it comes to things like this. Even when it is a little weird to see digital mouths still not syncing up in Sand Land when that should be a little easier to animate around. I will take all the hate those words are going to be taken out of context for.

Are you looking to play Sand Land with the English dub over or will it just be the standard when it comes to the English-speaking areas? Do you see and hear how the characters have shifted based on the different performances? Is it still weird for digital characters to not have the proper lip flapping when it can be done with ease in video games? Take those thoughts to the comment section and let all of that hate flow. More for Sand Land is certainly on the way for us all and we will do what we can to cover it all. Please keep on checking in for all of those updates and many others. Unless your hatred has grown so much and you have opted to close your minds to things. Then you can kick rocks.
