A demo for Sand Land is out there so we can all have a quick taste of what will be coming in Sand Land
We have had a lot to look at for Sand Land up to now, and I am sure we are going to have a lot more before April 26th. Sometimes, though, trailers and videos do not do the full thing to help sell a game. We know this. Bandai Namco knows this. Due to all of that ‘knowing’, it looks as if they have opted to let us give Sand Land a bit of a try. Not us specifically, but ‘us’ as in the gaming community by dropping a little ol’ demo out there on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A demo you can download and play as soon as you are done reading all of this. So, only a little bit more waiting but not too much.
As for what specifically we are going to get to experience in this demo for Sand Land, well, that is not directly stated as of yet. If the following trailer is anything to go on, it looks like it will be a lot of the vehicle combat and exploration that we have seen in all of the other videos out there. Given that we have seen that to be a massive part of it all, that is a good thing and should also limit the spoilers of any of the story too. Not to mention that we are going to get some of those famous customization options to play with in Sand Land so we can better plan for the day we have the full game. I hope you are ready for a jumping Cat Bot…
Sand Land — Demo
Whet your appetite for adventure — dip your toes in the sand! The Sand Land playable demo is available NOW on PlayStation, Steam, and Xbox. Play the full game on April 26th!
This has to be the kind of demo I am always looking for. One that will show off the gameplay and most likely not ruin anything for Sand Land when it launches. Something akin to letting us play the tutorials before the full game lands. All so we can aim to skip all of the slowness when we have the option to play the full experience. Of course, this is based on not playing the demo as of yet, as it is still downloading as we are writing this, but if it flows as it looks like it will, then fans should be excited. That or they will find out that they should hold off on pre-ordering the game and wait to see how the final version plays out. Another good reason to have demos for these massively hyped-up games.
Are you going to give the demo for Sand Land a try or just wait until the final version is out there? Should games start dropping the tutorials for games, when possible, before the full launch, or just build them better into the core game? How much of the customization will there be and can we move it all over to the full game when it is here? Answer these questions and drop some of your own in the comment section below. We are going to keep adding more for Sand Land out there as we get it all, so please keep on checking back for all of those updates and the many others we have on the way. I know I am excited and I have seen the excitement from all of you as well.
