Robin Moves To Action With The Latest Injustice 2 Gameplay

Injustice 2 — Robin Gameplay

During the first livestream for Injustice 2 we had a chance to see Robin in action as well as other character’s new Injustice 2 super moves

Yesterday we had the first livestream event for Injustice 2 with the hopes of many more before launch. For those who missed out on all of it during the MKX craze, this is where part of the NetherRealm Studios team gets together to show us new characters, character breakdowns, and other gameplay features for their games to not only hype but also inform us all. Unlike many of the other streams they have done though, it looks like there wasn’t any new character to be shown off for Injustice 2 nor any solid breakdowns but at least we did get to see more than just a glimpse of Robin in action as he now has a solid gameplay trailer to show you some of the new moves and action in store for us.

While the video clip here isn’t completely telling of how Robin will be in Injustice 2, it is something new and it does sow off that there is still something going on in the universe where swords to the gut don’t kill beings without super powers. Explosions from batarangs I can kind of understand but this to me proves that once again there is something going on as with Injustice that allows these mortal men to compete with the gods and alien beings that will be thrashing the world. At least with their sheer brawn and not just their tactics and planning as is the usual case in the DC universe.

Injustice 2 — Robin Gameplay

The line between hero and villain has become blurred as the most epic battle in the DC universe rages on in Injustice 2. While Batman has emerged the victor in his battle against the Regime, a new threat arises and poses the ultimate threat to Earth.

Of course this whole thing would have been a bit pointless if all that NetherRealm Studios wanted to do was show off Robin in Injustice 2. There was also a look at how the gear system works a bit and some explanation on how gadgets currently are working in the game. Some of which can change not only the look of thing for the characters but also swap out moves and powers for them based on a two slot system. At least that is the current state of it all as Injustice 2 is still a growing thing and stuff like this could be swapped out or overhauled to help balance things out. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Although some of you out there may not have to wait too long as the Injustice 2 beta just started up as of about 3 pm PST yesterday as beta codes were sent out to some of those who signed up. Of course this build only has the announced characters so far and will only offer up the online mode for now as that is what they want to test, but there will also be some gear drops and functions mixed in as well. I’m guessing they want to also see what works for online play and what really doesn’t as the current state of things is that it will all flow over to the online modes except for tournaments and such. I’m not sure if this is purely just the numbers that won’t make the jump or if the cosmetic stuff won’t either. I guess we’ll find out soon.

Injustice 2 — Batman, Robin & Atrocitus Super Moves

What do you think of how Robin seems to fit into the Injustice 2 world here? Do you think that there is some story event that explains away some of the weirdness with lethal weapons like the way that they explained how normal heroes could handle the godly beings from before? Are you ready to see how this beta plays out or will you be holding back until all the bugs are removed and the game is ready for launch? Let us know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. As more for Injustice 2 is shown off in any form, we will have it here for you. Be sure to stay locked into the site here so you don’t miss out on a single thing.
