Put On Your Happy Face As We Happy Few Is Coming To Market

It looks like We Happy Few will finally be coming to retail markets next year & with a We Happy Few Collector’s Set to top it off

It looks like the wait for a full version of We Happy Few is almost over as it looks like a full-length story and version of the game will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC next year. When next year? Well as it turns out Compulsion Games will be wrapping it all up and shipping it all out on April 13th of 2018 and all in a physical form for those who enjoy that kind of thing. Yes, that is a Friday the 13th as well, but I’m not sure if that has any deeper meaning to We Happy Few or just a nice fun date to have selected for it all. Either way, the game is fully coming and we will have a lot more to look forward to when it does.

How much more? Well of course all of the gameplay improvements that have gone into We Happy Few so far since launch and also full stories for the three playable protagonists that will play into each of their strengths, weaknesses, and deep-dark secrets. Like I said, We Happy Few is going to have a full-length story to it all now. We are moving from “early access” into a gold status title so expect all of that. At least that would be the hope as the last major update for the Steam version of We Happy Few has just dropped as the team sets their aim for the final build. All of the improvements and still so much time to go.

We Happy Few — Announce Trailer

We Happy Few is the tale of a plucky bunch of moderately terrible people trying to escape from a lifetime of cheerful denial in the city of Wellington Wells. In this alternative 1960s England, conformity is key. You’ll have to fight or blend in with the drug-addled inhabitants, most of whom don’t take kindly to people who won’t abide by their not-so-normal rules.

Save 15% at participating retailers when you pre-order We Happy Few, plus get the exclusive in-game Jolly Brolly weapon at launch.

We Happy Few is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on April 13th, 2018.

The full version of We Happy Few will set you back $59.99 USD as seems standard now, but of course will have all the fun of pre-order bonuses to look out for. For the PS4 version of the game, it looks like Compulsion Games is giving you an exclusive theme for your system. For everyone else, it looks like you will be gaining access to the alpha build of We Happy Few to hold you over until the full release. Also pre-order will score you an in-game weapon of the Jolly Brolly Parasol. Pretty standard things when you look at it, so feel free to head on out and pre-order if you wish.

If none of that razzled or dazzled you though, there is also a Collector’s Set for We Happy Few that you can pick up for $149.99 USD. This set comes with all sorts of fun physical items based on the game. Things like a Bobby Mask, a Plexi Sign Lamp, and a vinyl cut of the game’s sound track. Not too shabby. That is until you realize that a copy of We Happy Few is not included here and this is just a fun little extra for those who want to shell out a lot more for the game for just some “exclusive” physical items. You can be the judge of that though but don’t say you were not warned about it.
