Play Against The Devil On The Consoles With The Devil Is In The Details

The Devil Is In The Details — Consoles Announcement

Console gamers will get to face off with the Devil in the new version of The Devil Is In The Details, coming out very soon

The Devil Is In The Details is on its way out there for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S games now, with some of the news we have flowing here. This is the title that HideWorks put out there on the PC not too long ago, where we would have to do some of the bidding of the one from below so we could make our way out of Limbo or Purgatory. All in the vein of an observation-first horror title, where we will have to watch for things changing in the world, while also surviving the horrible beings trying to keep us from doing our task. A fun little take on a normal kind of horror title as of late. One that will have us cursing the Devil more on September 12th, when the game lands on the new platforms.

In addition to having The Devil Is In The Details on the consoles, we are getting a few new things added into the game. Obviously, there will be some quality-of-life updates that the game will need to have. We will make some of the runs in the game replayable, as well as offer the game concept of LIVES. More or less, we will have many more chances to survive it all instead of just one. How nice of the Devil to allow for this, as we are tracking down the various anomalies in the locations and making sure we mark them for deletion. That will be the only way we will be able to escape the fate we are in at the moment, so that will be part of the fun. Along with the creepy new visuals that we have to see in the game’s world. Some of which you can spy just a little lower down on the page here.

The Devil Is In The Details — Consoles Announcement

Pre-order on Xbox Series X|S. Wishlist on PS5. Coming September 12, 2025.

In The Devil Is In The Details, you’re trapped inside a sadistic game show in Hell. The mansion shifts, rules bend, and a capricious host—the Arbiter—keeps score. Your only weapon is attention: catch the anomalies and report them before the corruption overtakes you. Miss too many, or panic, and the house makes you pay.

This console edition introduces the concept of LIVES, which means now you have more chances to survive the Devil’s game’s judgment.

Highlights:

  • Observation-First Horror: spot what changed—or face the consequences
  • Escalating trials with fast, replayable runs.
  • Controller-focused polish and QoL updates.

Will the Devil play fair with all of these new things here? How many runs will we need to complete to make it all the way out of this one? Do you like the idea of having multiple “lives” to make it through the tasks at hand? Will these be the final platforms that we see the game landing on out there? Rush on down to the comment section to leave those thoughts and start the discussion. We will do what we can for The Devil Is In The Details, so please keep on checking back here for all of those updates and bits of news.
