New Rumors Claim That The Next Assassin’s Creed Will Be Heading To The Switch

Assassin’s Creed — Rumor

Another rumor for the next Assassin’s Creed title is out there floating around & claiming this Assassin’s Creed will be on the Nintendo Switch

It looks like the rumor mill is flowing again as we get further speculation on the next Assassin’s Creed title and this time it is about the platforms it could be coming to. Of course none of this has been confirmed or commented on by Ubisoft as of yet but that doesn’t mean that it couldn’t be a possibility and this one seems to have some merit in general as well as others “in the know” agreeing with it. Pretty much this all boils down to the next Assassin’s Creed coming to the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and… the Nintendo Switch when it finally comes out.

Yes, Assassin’s Creed might be coming back to the Nintendo platform when the next one finally comes out which would end the four year hiatus form that the franchise has taken since Black Flag landed on the Wii U. To add some merit to all of this, outside of all of the hopefully claims of YouTube streamers, we do have some kind of word from a proven Nintendo insider on all of this in the way of Lauren Kate Dale who also publicly stated that it should be the case. Again, not a solid yes from the powers that be but it does put a bit more light on it as Dale has given some decent leaked intel in the past.

Of course it makes sense that Assassin’s Creed could make it onto the Switch in general given the new development platform that many developers have been praising for a while now. This also includes the CEO of Ubisoft who’s been doing the same since it was still being called the NX. Mix in the fact that the hardware is running some pretty impressive tech there and what we’ve seen for the Switch already I think it would be a loss if they didn’t. Especially given that the cross-platform development should be even easier this time around. But for now this all sits in the Rumor pile as we wait to even see if we get an Assassin’s Creed title in 2017.

What are your thoughts on Assassin’s Creed coming back to Nintendo via the Switch? Do you see it being an option or has the developer truly stepped away from it and the praising is just a home and personal thing? Would you prefer to play on the Switch over the already proven platforms that we already know that the game would be coming to? Let us know your thoughts on it all down in the comments and feel free to discuss. For more on this new Assassin’s Creed and if any of the rumors are true, stay right here as we’ll keep the information flowing as best we can to make sure we all know what is going on.
