Avengers
New details for the Marvel’s Avengers beta is set down with everything kicking off for the Avengers in early August of this year
We all knew it was coming since the pre-orders started for Marvel’s Avengers, but now we have a little more in terms of the details of it all. There is still more to come when Crystal Dynamics holds their next briefing for the game on July 29th, but for now we have at least some dates. Even if it does seem like the PS4 is going to get more of the Avengers love over the Xbox One and PC versions. Yes, this means that we are going to have a bit of a timed exclusive to it all as we go along. At the very least we will have a little taste of each of the various aspects of the game in the timeline.
If you have pre-ordered Marvel’s Avengers on the PS4, you will be able to dive into the closed version of the beta on August 7th to the 9th. Then it will open up to all PS4 users again on August 14th at the same time it will be closed for the Xbox One and PC users until August 16th. Then there will be one more session open to all on August 21st unto the 23rd for everyone to try to enjoy Marvel’s Avengers. If any of the progression will carry over or allow us to further expand the core of it all, it is still to be seen. That will all be better defined in a few weeks, I guess.
The Marvel’s Avengers beta program begins on August 7 exclusively for PlayStation 4 owners who have pre-ordered the game and will be available until August 9. On August 14, the beta will open up for all PlayStation 4 owners and run until August 16.
The beta for those who pre-ordered Marvel’s Avengers on Xbox One and PC will begin on August 14 and will run until August 16.
Finally, on August 21, the beta program will be open to all PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC players and run through August 23.
A Square Enix Members account will be required to play the beta. Players can sign up for the account for free at https://membership.square-enix.com/register. Everyone who signs up for an account will receive a Thor in-game nameplate in the final game.
Are you fully ready to the Avengers a go in its beta form or will this just feel like a stress test more than anything? Do you find it odd that we are going to be getting a staggered and exclusive release for all of this? Do you think any of the progression will carry over beside the Thor Nameplate we will be able to unlock for taking part? Let us all know down in the comments what you are thinking and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more to share for Marvel’s Avengers, you know we will share it all here. All you need to do is keep checking in for all of that and much more.
