Maxi is joining the roster of Soulcalibur VI and we get to see more of the character in action with the latest trailer for Soulcalibur VI
One more fighter has joined the ranks of SoulCalibur VI and it is another one that has shown their face in the past but is still not the largest named character for the franchise. At least that would be the case for me. Anyways, it looks like Bandai Namco has officially added Maxi to the roster for this outing of the franchise and Maxi will have all the flare and nunchaku fans of Soulcalibur could be hoping for. They could have changed things up, but it was time to go with what we all know again and keep the fans hoping for more when the game finally does hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this year. Whenever that may actually be here.
You can have a look at Maxi in action just below with another of the Soulcalibur VI reveal trailers we have been getting. It definitely looks like Maxi is a bit on the slower side, in terms of speed, when compared to all of the others we have seen so far. It is odd, especially given the weapon used, that he would be a bit slower. I hope that means he hits a lot harder to better counteract all of the other speedier characters in Soulcalibur VI, but that too does not look to be the case. Maybe this is why I have a hard time remembering him from the past as he would have been a character I ignored due to those kinds of reasons. More in your face and speed is what I go with.
Soulcalibur VI — Maxi Reveal
Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe are pleased to announce the nunchaku wielder Maxi will be joining the Soulcalibur VI roster. Soulcalibur VI will be launched in 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Maxi’s father had worked in the Ryukyu Kingdom as a merchant. Though fortunate enough to experience different cultures from his trade, he felt tied down by his job. On his deathbed, he told Maxi to go out and see the world. Deciding to live by these words, Maxi set out to seek total freedom. He found this out at sea where he became a pirate to see the world his father couldn’t.
Maxi’s weapon is a nunchaku which is extremely difficult to wield. It will give a rain of pain to the opponent but only if you know how to handle it!
