One more video for Dying Light 2 is here and this one gives us a bit more behind the main voice we will experience in Dying Light 2
Just as it always seems with the massive updates for Dying Light 2, there were a few things left out once more. This time it feels like it was so that Techland could better highlight the gameplay that they gave us for the game. Sadly, at the time that meant that we did not get the nice and full update for the main voice talent we have for Dying Light 2. That is where this next little video comes in and focuses all of the time on Jonah Scott and what it took to voice Aiden Caldwell in the game. All of which is something that sounds like it is still evolving as we get closer and closer to the February 4th release date. I guess it makes more sense that we had to lose that December release window we had before so we can get the best version out there.
This new video does not show off much of the gameplay for Dying Light 2, to warn you a bit. It is one of the behind-the-scenes that has Jonah discussing the process and feeling of going through all of the motions to lend the proper voice. A voice that will have over 50,000 different things for us to hear. Sure, that does give us a lot of the basic breathing and grunts since this is the protagonist of Dying Light 2, but interesting to note in general. Especially since most of the lines we hear in our video games do not generally come from the protagonist and are filled in by outside sources. That does make it sound like we could have a whole lot more to experience than we could have imagined back when the game was first announced to us all.
Dying Light 2 — Dying 2 Know More – Jonah Scott, Voice Of Aiden Caldwell
In the latest episode of Dying 2 Know More, Jonah Scott, voicing the main protagonist in Dying Light 2, shared with us some details about his dubbing career and his feeling about the main character, Aiden Caldwell. Thousands of lines to play and an amazing adventure are what he experienced in the last few months, but it all started much earlier. Watch the new Dying 2 Know More episode to find out how Aiden’s story began!
Do you think this is an indicator that Dying Light 2 will be vastly longer than expected or will it just be that we have multiple variations of the same thing to hear in the game? Do you think some of this is to fit in with the dynamic audio we discussed a while back or will that be its own thing out there? How many big scenes do you think we will have in the game or will a lot of this be inner monologues and self-musings for Aiden in the game? Tell us all of those thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. For more on Dying Light 2, be sure to keep checking back in on the site. We will have all that we can for you here, so be sure to keep those heads and eyes on a swivel.
