Injustice 2 Gives Us A Bit More Supergirl To Gaze Upon For Now

Injustice 2 — Supergirl Gameplay Walkthrough

A new breakdown video for Injustice 2 has been released and this one showcases Injustice 2’s version of Supergirl in action and explains a bit of her moves & combos

It’s been a while since we had something new to see for Injustice 2 and I know I was hoping that we would have seen the roster expanded a bit more by now. Especially since the recent PSX or The Game Awards would have been a perfect place for NetherRealm Studios to show off some new and old characters coming to the game. Sadly none of that was the case and we’ve been left wanting for more Injustice 2 to enjoy. Beggars not being choosers here, it does look like we have a new breakdown video for Supergirl today though so at least we have a nice way to end out the year a bit with the game. It may not be new characters but it is something and we should all just take it.

What we do have here today though is a breakdown for Supergirl that shows off her basic moves in Injustice 2 as well as some of her more devastating super moves, combos, and finisher. On top of all of that, if you look close you can see a few different outfits for her and other characters mixed into it all as well so it isn’t all just Supergirl that has new items to look at here. It’s also Deathstroke and Blue Beetle for those who haven’t already skipped right along to the new video. None the less, enjoy what we have here for you and then get ready to wait a bit longer until we see more Injustice 2 information and characters.

Injustice 2 — Supergirl Gameplay Walkthrough

Get a gameplay introduction to how Supergirl crushes her foes in Injustice 2.

Being a longtime fan of NetherRealm Studios‘ other IPs I can’t help but notice quite a few mashed up other characters mixed in here for Supergirl in Injustice 2. Of course we have the normal Sub Zero with the overuse of the Freeze Breath but I also see a bit of Kitana and Scorpion here too. Of course why not use what works in the other games right? It does make the progress a bit easier and less bothersome when you can cut and paste working code and animations and to me that is what it looks like. I’m not harshing on NetherRealm for it, but I’m just saying that it is noticed here for Injustice 2 and now I’m on the lookout for more like it. I guess we’ll see.

What do you think of Supergirl now for Injustice 2 now that she’s been given the breakdown? Do you see the similarities that I do or have I just been playing too much MKX lately? When do you think we will see another huge announcement for the game in terms of characters and features? Let us know your thoughts on all of this in the comments and then discuss.
