A delay has hit Gotham Knights and now it looks like we are going to have to wait a year longer for Gotham Knights
You most likely figured it out by now, but it does look as if Gotham Knights will no longer be heading out to us this year. Yes, we have a new delay and it looks like WB Games Montréal needed to make the call to push it out until 2022. When in 2022 is still up for debate but that is when we should start looking to see Gotham Knights hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Maybe this will all be for the best and give us a few more things to keep us all going into the future. Especially if we are able to get back to the convention scenes where this one will certainly hit fairly hard and capture more eyes than before.
The reasons for this delay are a bit vague but it still all boils down to the team wanting to take more time to make sure Gotham Knights is ready for us all. Maybe this is a bit of a move given a few other titles that jumped out before they were ready or maybe this is because the publisher actually is giving them the ability to make the game they want us to play. Who really knows outside of that? I am just glad that it is not the same generic “polish” reason we always get that seems weird to throw on a video game. Here is to hoping we will see Gotham Knights earlier in 2022 and not the back-half of it all.

Did you have a feeling that Gotham Knights was going to get pushed before this was made official or is it all a shock to you? Do you think that it will be for the betterment of the title or will it be to force things into the game that we might not be looking for in it all? Do you think it could be in the early part of the year that we see it or will it be overly ambiguous until they are fully ready to declare when we will get to play? Give us all of that feedback down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you wish. If there is more for Gotham Knights, we will share it all here. Be sure to keep checking back for all of that and more.
