Sektor is ready to fight in Mortal Kombat 1 with a new look at just what the character will bring when Khaos Reigns in Mortal Kombat
The next fighter for the roster in Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns is getting their day to shine with Sektor on display for us in the latest trailer. Another of the cybernetic ninjas that NetherRealm Studios has given us in the past with a new update to the look. All based around how Mortal Kombat 1 has reshaped the game’s world before any of you want to get up in arms that they gender-swapped the character. Embrace the evolution and be glad we are getting a whole lot more for the IP on September 24th when the DLC lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Sektor looks to be another fun character with another fun Animality rushing in to help end the opponents out there.
It is a little off to tell the reasons behind Sektor being here in the story of Mortal Kombat 1 based on this trailer alone, but it does look like they will have a deeper role to play in it all. Along with many of the other ninjas of the Lin Kuei who are helping to keep things in balance and less in chaos. That is why we are seeing many of the new fire-based attacks from Sektor back in the game along with some new cybernetics that only Mortal Kombat 1 could allow for. We even get to see Sektor turn into a Rhino to end the match, which feels a little off to me with the color scheme and what is known for the character, but maybe it will all make sense once we get the full expansion in our hands and have a chance to experience it first-hand.
Mortal Kombat 1 — Sektor Gameplay
For the Lin Kuei, at any cost. Sektor joins Mortal Kombat 1 when Khaos Reigns launches September 24.
Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns expands Liu Kang’s New Era with a new story campaign and an all-new cinematic experience. Discover how Liu Kang rallies his champions and puts faith in his enemies as he battles the ruthless Titan Havik, who threatens to plunge the realms into khaos. If they fail, the New Era will be reduced to anarchy.
Are you still getting your undies all unbunched that they opted to include more females in Mortal Kombat 1 or are you still swearing off the game because of that? What do you think Sektor is turning into a Rhino for the Animality and will that link into anything else beyond just looking cool? How deep into the story will Sektor be and will it be more than just getting the main cast from point A to point B? Fight it all out in the comments and keep the discussion a little more civil. As more for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns flows on out there, we will share it all here and on our channels. Please keep an eye on all of that so you do not miss out on a single, little update.
