Destruction AllStars has been delayed out to next year with Destruction AllStars getting a new release window and special announcement too
If you were one of those gamers out there looking to have Destruction AllStars at the ready when the PS5 launches, it is time to get a little disappointed. It looks like it will no longer be making that date in November as Lucid Games needs some more time to make sure it is fully ready for the system. It is a bit sad to hear, but it looks like it will add one more title to the February lineup for the PS5 with Destruction AllStars getting shifted to then instead. Sure, there will be a load of other titles we will have launching then too, but this one does come with a fun little extra update too.
That update being that Destruction AllStars will be added to the list of the free PlayStation Plus titles in February and for two months. All for no extra cost and on top of the other titles that will be planned for then. Not a bad tactic to get more people interested in Destruction AllStars as it felt like a joke of a game to have at launch on the PS5 by many out there. Now they will get to see if this could be a sleeper hit as many have seen in other titles like it in the past. Who thought that Rocket League was going to be as big as it was based on the basics we had before it launched? Not many and this could fall right in that line. That or we will have two months of trying to experience the game and finding out well before needing to drop money on it.
Destruction AllStars — Announcement
We wanted to share a quick update on our plans for Destruction AllStars. We’ve decided to move the game’s release from November 2020 to February 2021, where it will be included for two months in PlayStation Plus at no additional cost.
Destruction AllStars is a multiplayer game that’s at its best when you’re competing with gamers online from all around the world. We want as many people as possible to experience the mayhem on PS5, and what better way to do that than to provide the game to our PlayStation Plus members?
How crushed are you to find out that Destruction AllStars is no longer going to be a launch title for the PS5? Do you suspect that this will make the game a true contender or did it get shifted to bury it among other titles that could be out in February? Do you have any hopes of this one being another sleeper hit or will all of the jokes others have tossed out there come to light? Let us have all of those thoughts and feelings down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more for Destruction AllStars, we will share it all here. Just be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and more.
