Dark Atlas: Infernum Will Walk Us Into The Oldest Occult Order Out There

Dark Atlas: Infernum — Announcement

The announcement for Dark Atlas: Infernum is here to take us down a walk into the world of Dark Atlas sometime next year

Psychological horror is getting one more title in the mix with the announcement we have here for Dark Atlas: Infernum. A new title on the way to us all from Night Council Studio and SelectaPlay to give us even more terror in our worlds than we need. As long as you can survive until 2024 to see Dark Atlas: Infernum drop on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That is not that far off and it gives the teams involved much more of the time to make sure we are not ready for what is to come. Which, if this trailer is any indication, it looks like we are going to get a whole lot of mind-bending stuff in the mix. With my money landing on the Halloween season of 2024 for it all to come to light.

As you will certainly see in the following trailer for Dark Atlas: Infernum, we have one more horror walking simulation coming, with a bit of a stealth aspect mixed in. At least that is the look of it as Natalia Asensio is moving about the game’s world here and the skinned creature comes walking into the rooms. Not a terrible thing to have here as long as the narrative of the game is something that truly shines. That is one of the other selling points we have for Dark Atlas: Infernum that can be a little hard to spot in this trailer for the game. Then again, if they dropped all of that out there from the start, we really would not need to play the game to have a good time with it all. Have a look and see just what could be coming at us in this game when it does finally come into our homes out there.

Dark Atlas: Infernum — Announcement

You are Natalia Asensio, former Grand Master of the oldest occult order in the West: the Night Council. And while everything burns and the sky cracks, you must descend into the abysses of your mind, walk the paths of hell, and seek answers to all questions. Unlock your memories, resist the influence of the enigmatic character known as “The Word” and find your way out of the maze in which you find yourself locked up. Do it before those whose ambition is to control this new apocalyptic world get it… Do it before they discover a way to reforge the Corona Radiata, the grimoire that will give them ultimate power. And above all, do it before… you are the one to tell them how.

Main features:

  • Single-player, first-person survival horror with a dark, disturbing narrative.
  • Gameplay is steeped in psychological horror, stealth, and puzzles.
  • Strong narrative content: an original story from the Saga Radiata, the literary universe created by Álvaro Aparicio that includes books, podcasts, and other narrative formats, and in which the meta-anthology of horror Dark Atlas is integrated.
  • The cast of voices in Spanish is led by Alberto “Láudano” Martínez, the voice of the popular Spanish podcast Noviembre Nocturno.
  • A haunting original soundtrack composed to accompany the dark narrative.
  • Includes original collectibles and Steam Achievements, so you’ll want to explore every corner…if you dare.

Dark Atlas: Infernum will be released on PC via Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles in 2024.

It is a little odd that they went with the style they did for this trailer for Dark Atlas: Infernum. It feels as if we are walking around in tunnel vision for the majority of the game here. This is just for the trailer it would seem, with some of the still shots offering up a clear look at the various locations and settings we will head into. Maybe this is to obfuscate the early look of Dark Atlas: Infernum when it comes to the visuals or maybe this is to highlight some kind of fear mechanism that could be in the game. It does feel as if the character is under a lot of stress in this one, so that could be the case. Maybe we will get a better explanation for all of this soon, though. I know I truly hope so with a better explanation of a few other things out there too.

Are you frightened by what you had to see here for Dark Atlas: Infernum or does it grab your eyes for now? Do you suspect this is a trailer-style thing or could this be some form of fear mechanism in the game that we are just learning about? When do you think the game will fully launch out there and will it be fitting for the October times once more? Take to the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else we can muster up for the game. We should have a lot more for Dark Atlas: Infernum as we march forward to the launch. Please keep on checking back for all of those updates and all of the others we have to share on the site. You should not be let down by any of it.
