Chernobylite Goes To Some Dark Places With The Latest Gameplay

Chernobylite — Gamescom Demo Gameplay

The gameplay demo for Chernobylite out of Gamescom is here to show off to all the fans following Chernobylite up to now

We have all been waiting patiently for more for Chernobylite and fresh out of Gamescom it looks like we have more to look at. A whole lot to look at now that the event is well in the past and The Farm 51 wants to make sure we all have had a chance to see some of what to expect. We all knew Chernobylite was going to be an FPS of sorts that has us go through the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant with some horror elements mixed in. Now is the time we get to see just how deep and dark it all goes. Not just in mentality but also in the way of places to explore. There is a whole lot to take in.

At first, this new gameplay for Chernobylite is going to make it look like a walking simulator with a bit of stealth mixed in for good measure. Then we get to some of the other horror elements and the action we would expect in the mix for the team that is going in. This is where I think that the true demo starts as it gives us a look at everything that Chernobylite is going to offer when it releases out there in full form. Granted, this is an alpha build so things could change vastly but for now, just have a look at the nice and long demo footage. See if it is living up to what you expected back in the Kickstarter days of it all.

Hey stalkers!

Thanks to the Kickstarter campaign supported by so many of you, we spent the last few months working very hard to bring you into the Heart of Darkness — The Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Even if there’s still a few months ahead to the release of Early Access version of the game on Steam, we wanted to share a small part of the experience with you. Leave us your comments and help us polish the game to become an ultimate Chernobyl experience for all of us.

What do you think about what we have here for Chernobylite and does it live up to all of the hype you were expecting for the game? Did you want to see more running and gunning or does this fit your expectations? How much darker do you think it will all go in the full game? Let us have all of those answers and more down in the comments. We will have more for Chernobylite and when we do, it will be up on the site. Just be certain to keep checking back in for all of that and much more.
