It looks like Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is making the rounds at SDCC and we’ll get a look at the new Call Of Duty narrative coming for the game
We’ve had a bit of Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare news and footage come out of E3 but it looks like that was only another small section as the game is making a showing at San Diego Comic Con in two weeks. While Infinity Ward may have focused more on the action and combat before it looks like this time it is a focus on the narrative that we are going to get here. Yes, Call Of Duty games have a story for those who are not all about the multiplayer only. Now we are going to get a sneak peek at it all before we get the game on November 4th. At least that is the hope here.
The long and short of it all is that Activision is having a nice hour long showing of this new Call Of Duty story out there with Greg Miller hosting the whole event. You know, because that makes sense for some reason to all of you out there. During the panel some of the team and voice talent will be going into the story we are going to be getting this Fall. In terms of level of detail we are going to have to wait but it does look like we are getting something and that is at least good; even if it is at a comic convention and not a gaming convention…
The panel will take place on Thursday, July 21st at 1:00pm in room 6BCF. Panelists include:
- Taylor Kurosaki, Narrative Director at Infinity Ward
- Jeff Negus, Director of Photography at Infinity Ward
- Brian Bloom (The A-Team, Once Upon a Time in America)
- Jamie Gray Hyder (True Blood, Graceland)
- David Harewood (Supergirl, Blood Diamond)
- Jeffrey Nordling (Sully, Big Little Lies)
If you are not going to be in attendance for the convention on that day or at all don’t worry too much as you’ll have the ability to have a look at what is being shown for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare from home. At least if the plans that the convention leads have in place work out as they state all the panels will be streamed somehow. For those who will be there though it looks like you will have a nice little extra for showing up in terms of a limited edition lithograph poster. I guess that will be the reward for waiting in line and dealing with all of the crowds out there.
What do you think the story for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare will entail here? Do you think that it will be good enough to get those multiplayer only gamers to move over or will it be generic again? Will you just be heading out there to pick up the limited edition item? Let us know and feel free to comment down below. For more on Call Of Duty in any form be sure to stay glued right here on the site. We’ll have all of the updates that we can as well as updates out of SDCC.
