Boomerang & Deadshot Are Out There In The Mix For Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League — Character Bio: Deadshot

The other two members of the Suicide Squad are highlighted now to bring us further into Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League

The next two members of the team are here to get their time in the light for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. That puts the whole team out there now for us and how Rocksteady is going to be handling them after taking the time to get the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 2nd. If you have not paid attention so far, these two characters are Deadshot and Captain Boomerang for the Suicide Squad as they team up to do what the title states. Now that we have all of that out of the way, let us dig into what these two members are going to be bringing and the members of the League they are going to be facing off with when it all boils down.

First up, we have Captain Boomerang who seems like no one wants on Suicide Squad yet needs to be on the team since he has been a staple for a while now. More or less the running joke of it all but he is a villain of The Flash, so he will be needed in the mix. All while tapping into the Speedforce in some way to help face off with the gods of the Justice League in the game. This is just a guy who is a criminal who was good at throwing sticks that come back to him. That is the running gag of the Suicide Squad and many of the other members, so we did need a way to make him able to hold his own against these heroes that could bring him down in the blink of an eye.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League — Character Bio: Captain Boomerang

Taken down by the Flash more times than he can count, this Boomerang keeps coming back. With a hint of speedforce of his own, Captain Boomerang is on his mark to catch the Scarlet Speedster and put him in his place.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is available February 2nd, 2024, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Last, but not least, we have Deadshot in the fight for the Suicide Squad and bringing guns to the fight once more. All while using much of the same tech the others have and the statement that he never misses a shot. That is going to be more on the player than anything, but the following trailer does show it off in a great way. Oddly, though, it seems Deadhsot’s main antagonist is going to be the Green Lantern in this game. Just as with King Shark, it is an odd choice to make given the normal hero he faces off with. Then again, more of the Justice League’s big villains are going to be gods themselves so dipping into the Batman line of it all will make it a proper challenge for the Suicide Squad. Just an odd choice in my book.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League — Character Bio: Deadshot

Brainiac’s soldiers don’t stand a chance against Deadshot. He’s locked, loaded and the Justice League won’t know what hit them when he marks them as his next target.

To keep going on about that in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, if we are going to be pulling mostly from the Batman line of enemies, why not just make it another Batman game? I understand that the IP is rather large still and has had the most buzz, but there are other characters out there that could have been used. That or a better reason for each of the members of the Suicide Squad to have a specific hero they are supposed to be the foil to. Harley has Batman again, King Shark has Superman, Boomerang has the Flash, and Deadshot has the Green Lantern. Just weird and if they are planning to expand later on, does that mean we will get other members of the JLA too? Just give me Dog Welder and Polka Dot Man and call it a day.

How are you feeling about these characters we have in the Suicide Squad and their pairing off with the heroes? Do you think if they expand the roster that they will expand the JLA or will it be the same gameplay but with the new character? Would you have rather seen more of the obscure characters in the mix for this game or will it always ride the coattails of what is popular instead? Head into the comments to discuss all of that and everything else we have to share for the game. We will have much more for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, so please keep on coming back to see and hear about all of that before and after the game launches out there.
