Blood Bowl 3 Heads Further Into The Fantasy Football Realm Of Things

Blood Bowl 3 — Campaign

A new campaign video for Blood Bowl 3 is out there to show off the various Blood Bowl sponsors and how they will link into the game

There have been a few silly ads for Blood Bowl 3 before now, and I am sure there will be more, but now we get to have a nice little taste of the different campaigns we might get to see in the game. Not in the way of a story mode, that we can tell, but in the way of ad campaigns that Cyanide will have in the game’s universe to help sell the whole “fantasy football” aspect that Blood Bowl has been over the years. Not in the traditional way that stereotypical jocks go about to have their fun while pretending to not be into nerd culture. But in the way of the fantasy worlds out there being more than just swords, quests, and end of the world kind of things that are the usual tropes we have to deal with. Those normal folks out there need to make a buck somehow and this is a nice showing of how that can be in this world.

That might be a bit of an oversimplification of things and offering up a bit more than we are getting here for Blood Bowl 3 right now too. In fact, we have a nice little montage of the big “sponsors” in the game showing off what will most likely be some of the in-game ads we will get. We had the beer commercial not too long ago, so it will only seem logical that we are going to get many of those other stereotypes we have during sports ball events too. Something to help break up the matches and quarters we will be out there beating each other with in Blood Bowl too. Here is a quick montage of what to expect as we wait for the game to finally launch on all the platforms out there.

Blood Bowl 3 — Campaign

Brutal, crazy, tactical… this is Blood Bowl! The iconic death sport returns with the new video game of fantasy football faithfully using the latest board game rules and new content.

Blood Bowl 3 will release on PC through the Epic Games Store and Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Is it all that out-there to expect Blood Bowl to add this level of cheekiness to the game or did you think it was going to be all business the whole time? Do you think we might get to see some fake movie trailers in the mix too or will it stick to the staples of beer and food ads here? Would you rather be able to skip all of these and just get into the gameplay or will they be needed breaks to keep us engaged just a bit longer with the game? Let us know what you think down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish to. We will keep the Blood Bowl 3 news flowing here as it comes out, so be sure to keep checking in for all of that and more.
