The open beta dates for Battlefield 2042 have been set with Battlefield fans getting entry into it early in the coming week
Battlefield 2042 may have been pushed out a bit with it still hitting us on November 19th, but those that have been holding out hope can get a small taste of it all here sooner than that. It is not a huge surprise that DICE will be holding an open beta for the game to help iron things out. It is just a surprise now that we have an official date that all of that will be going down and it is next week. Yes, more of us will be able to play Battlefield 2042 early next week with preloads starting on October 5th to get us ready for the rest of the firefights going on until the week’s end. That is, it will be running from October 6th until the 9th for those without direct access to a calendar right now.
It does seem a bit odd to end it on the Saturday of all days, but I guess the team needs a little break before taking in all of that date to help make Battlefield 2042 a better game. Even if it does look like it will only be for the multiplayer aspect to it all and not much else. All of which you can see in motion in the following announcement video for this open beta. It would be a bit off to spoil the rest of Battlefield 2042 for those not looking to head out online in this beta, but weirder things have happened. Take a look and see how explosive it could all be at the end of the day. Then get your systems clear to download the files and dig into what it all has to offer up.
