DC All Access brings a bit more for Injustice 2 as they dig into the now ended beta and get a few more little tidbits on Injustice 2’s gear system
The wait for May 16th and the release of Injustice 2 is really doing a number on a lot of us out there. Sure the now ended beta for the game was a nice little taste, but given that NetherRealm Studios has been very hush-hush on mechanics and characters in general, outside of the truly planned ones, we all need to grasp for every little tidbit that we can get. That is where DC All Access has stepped in here to bring us all just a little more on the gear system for Injustice 2 as well as some new gameplay as we watch a few poorly executed matches from the aforementioned beta. Beggars and choosers here all…
More or less it is the same frazzle dazzle that we get for Injustice 2 in terms of gameplay news. The gear will not only let us customize our fighter’s look but also some of the damage output and moves they can do. This of course is something that causes a stir for a lot of hardcore fighting game fans out there as it could lead to some kind of unbalance, but if they paid close attention then they would know that there will be modes online that bring the playing field back to zero so they don’t have to have those worries. Although that does mean that the less experienced fighters in Injustice 2 will have some struggles or need to get ahead of the curve.
Outside of all of that, there is a new look at how some of these fighters in Injustice 2 play for those who missed out on all the beta fun. While Kohli may not be showing them off in the best light as he is more of an actor than hardcore video game fighter, it does let us look at each of these characters available at the time as well as see how the match up with the style of fighter they are said to be from NetherRealm. Then it’s off to waiting for more characters to be revealed sometime this week and hopefully some new gameplay. Only time will tell for now.
