A Dance Of Masks Is About To Take Off In Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous

Pathfinder: Wrath Of the Righteous — A Dance Of Masks

The final DLC for Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous is coming soon with the world of Pathfinder expanding a bit more

Great things do need to come to an end at some point and it looks like the DLC for Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous is coming to that place soon. The sixth and final DLC for the game is on the way from Owlcat Games and will be offering up a nice little festival to close things out with. A festival and all manner of other monstrous things that Pathfinder is known for too. All when A Dance Of Masks hits the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on June 13th. Here comes that final love letter from the Knight Commander…

This new DLC for the Pathfinder video game will be taking us back to Kenabres where it has been rebuilt and ready to party down after all of the other events that went down in the game. Those damned villains out there, though, cannot let anyone have a good time and they attack once more. Now our heroes will have to go into another enemy stronghold so they can enjoy their days off and celebrate. Not to mention dive into the new romantic event and companion added into Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous with this expansion. There will be eleven new archetypes and other new gameplay features to help with all of this too. Have a little look at the insanity that is about to unfold out there in just over a month from now.

Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous — A Dance Of Masks

Owlcat Games is excited to reveal the sixth and final DLC expansion for its critically acclaimed cRPG, Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous. A Dance Of Masks will take players back to where it all began in a final love letter to the Knight Commander and their loyal companions. Get ready for one last ride when A Dance Of Masks releases for PC and consoles on June 13, 2024.

Gather the Knight Commander’s companions and return to the city of Kenabres, destroyed and now rebuilt from the ashes. Visit a festival, celebrate your victories, socialize with friends and loved ones, watch the fireworks… and thwart the plans of villains trying to spoil the fun!

Key features of A Dance Of Masks include:

  • A new adventure that will take you back to Kenabres and beyond, including a new enemy’s stronghold
  • Personal events for every companion — we’ve seen them fight, now it’s time to watch them have a day off
  • A new romantic event with every romanceable companion
  • An otherworldly arena where players can test their mettle against some truly mythic enemies
  • 11 new character archetypes and a new weapon with the ability to switch grip from one-handed to two-handed
  • Fully voiced dialogues

While I know this is a standard trope in Pathfinder where the villains always attack when things are peaceful, I was kind of hoping this one would not have gone down that path. It still looks like it is going to be a fun and wild ride, for sure, but it would have been nice to see it flow out a bit differently. Although, I am glad to see more of the tabletop version of Pathfinder is getting added in and with how they keep building on their engine for the next adventure path, if they do, it feels like we could get a fully rounded version of it all down the line, which is super exciting to think about. Only time will tell and we will just need to keep facing off against villains until that day comes.

Are you excited to see where this version of Pathfinder goes or do you think this is where the studio will end this run of the IP? Which of the other adventure paths would you like to see added into the mix out there and why is it Skulls & Shackles? Would you want to have the full tabletop game set available at some point to re-run through this one or Kingmaker? Tell us all of those tales and discuss them all in the comment section below. If there is anything more to share for Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous or this line of titles, we will share it here or on our channels. Please keep on checking back in for all of those updates to see how it is all going to progress.
